Ruby Lissi is located in the first district, the heart of Vienna’s historic city center. Many of the major sightseeing hotspots, business addresses and the city’s nightlife scene are just a stone's throw away.It's a pity you had difficulties finding our entrances. Ruby Lissi is located in a former post office building, which still houses a small post office branch. To get to the hotel, you can use the entrance at the well-known Fleischmarkt, which you reach through the signposted glass door. At the end of the small entrance hall, the bar welcomes you with open doors - simply follow the good music. Alternatively, you can use the entrance at Laurenzerberg and the elevator takes you directly to the hotel lobby. We have signposted everything, so you can't miss it.At Ruby Lissi, we don't offer everything but rather, in our eyes, the right things. This means that we leave out unnecessary extras (like a minibar or fridge in the room), so we can focus on the things that are most important to us – like our delicious healthy breakfast, locally sourced snacks and drinks, high-quality furnishings, unique atmosphere, central location, and value for money. Rather than in the room, you can find free tea and hot water in our Galley on the second floor.It's a pity that you didn't find the bed comfy. For most people, our big, cosy beds are the highlight of their stay. Next time, if there's anything we can do to make your room more comfortable, just ask one of our hosts. We're very sorry to hear that your room wasn't as clean as it should have been. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know, as cleanliness is a priority in all of our hotels. The city's most important sightseeing hotspots, business addresses and nightlife are just around the corner. It's also nice that you slept just as well in our super comfortable beds as we do. After an eventful day, they offer the ideal place to rest strained feet. However, we’re very sorry that you experienced the entrance to the building as uninviting. Since the hotel is located in a former post building, we had to adapt to the circumstances. Yet, we always put up enough signs guiding our guests to our bar, which should be far more atmospheric than the post office entrance. While our city centre location offers lots of advantages, it does mean we have less space to play with. That's why we design our rooms in a unique way to make the best use of the area available – by integrating the bathroom into the main room, for instance. We understand that our approach, including the frosted-glass toilet and all-glass shower, might not be to everyone’s taste, but it's part of our effort to keep the rooms feeling open and airy. We aim for transparency with our room layouts and ensure plenty of photos are available on our own and our partners’ websites.
