Nice apartment near the heart of the city.

Great apartment within walking distance of everything. Easy to get to from the airport. Just a note, that if you are sharing this unit with friends, you have to go through the bedroom to get to the one bathroom. Not a problem if you're close friends or family. May be more difficult with two couples. It does sleep four. One queen bed in bedroom and the sleeper sofa in the living room easily sleeps two. There is a small kitchen just in case you don't want to eat out. Overall, was a good find for us!

Leuk en ruim appartement voor een kort verblijf in Wenen in een gebouw op leeftijd dat wel wat onderhoud behoeft. Lekker geslapen op een lekker bed. Appartement ligt overal dicht bij en is goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer. Personeel van Check Vienna was via email uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Lovely place - make sure the aiconditioning works!

This was a lovely, roomy studio in a good, central location - perfect for me and my three grown daughters as a base to visit Vienna and take day trips to Prague and other cities. The beds were large and comfortable, and the kitchenette was adequate to our needs. I was pleased that the agent contacted me even before we left the US to exchange information and then checked through email. He was also quite responsive initially to my complaint about the air conditioning unit that would switch off when the water collecting basin was full (which happened every two-three hours). As the central air conditioning system wasn't working, this was very important for me - and the main reason why I had selected that place (because of my daughter's medical conditions). However in the end we had to find a solution ourselves.

Disappointing stay in Vienna

The location and general set up of this apartment was as expected. However, the service was not up to par, nor were the "amenities." I understand that there is no reception desk. However, we were met at the apartment by the cleaning crew (who were perfectly friendly but not trained or able to provide any information other than to collect our fee and provide us with keys). We were given absolutely no information about the area, transportation, local restaurants, etc. except for one map. We have stayed in many apartments throughout Europe and America, and there is always some sort of welcome notebook or paperwork explaining where to find restaurants, groceries, transportation, etc. nearby -- nothing of the sort here. Additionally, although I did not expect a fully appointed kitchen, I do expect the mere basics. We were provided a coffee pot with no carafe! So there was no means to actually make coffee since our coffee pot was missing the pot. We booked the apartment as a party of three; however, only two glasses were provided, one of which was dangerously cracked and not usable. No dish towels were provided, so we had to use paper towels to dry dishes. The bedding, specifically the pillows, were ancient and horrible -- they were flat, lumpy and towel-like objects put into a pillow case. All in all, given the price and advertising of this apartment, we were quite disappointed and I would not recommend this to friends, nor would I stay here again.

Great for families

10 minute walk from st. Stephens church. 1 block away out side of ring. Restaurants in the area are less expensive than in other areas. Good Metro when needed.

Mooi appartement, als je er in kunt...

We hadden om 2 uur afgesproken om in te checken bij het appartement. We stonden er al om kwart voor 2. Aangezien er nergens iets van een bel was of een teken dat we ergens aan konden bellen om in te checken, bleven we voor de deur staan wachten. Toen het kwart over 2 was, hadden wij nog steeds niemand gezien. Daarom belden we naar het nummer van CheckVienna dat op reisinformatie stond van Expedia. Bij een vriendin ging de telefoon niet eens over, maar werd er al meteen gezegd dat het nummer niet beschikbaar was. Nadat een paar keer proberen, heb ik zelf het nummer gebeld en kreeg een keuze menu van CheckVienna te horen. Na de juiste keuze, kreeg ik een man aan de telefoon die mij niet kon horen en allemaal hallo hallo riep. Uiteindelijk Expedia gebeld om te vertellen wat er aan de hand was. Die verbond mij door met een vrouw die mij uiteindelijk de codes van ons appartement gaf. Pas om 3 uur waren we in het appartement. We moesten geld op de tafel leggen voor de eindschoonmaak en de laatste dag de sleutel. Maar ons hele verblijf hebben we niemand gezien. Het appartement zelf en de locatie waren top, maar dan manier waarop je moet inchecken is mij een raadsel.

Not awful..

Damned by feint praise is the way to put things. They weren't awful when the mess of the check-in was sorted. That said, the staff let themselves in and out of the apartment at will and the contact was just rude. They didn't even attempt to tell us we wouldn't be met to be let in, and then increased the cleaning fee.

立地もよく快適

屋根裏ですが思ったより広く感じ、フルキッチンも使えましたがレンジが上にあるので暖めたあと取り出すとき要注意でした。 約一週間の滞在(2名)でしたがトイレットペーパーが少ないのと、食洗機用の洗剤が２つしかなかったので現地で買わないといけませんでしたが、リンク内で立地も便利でとても過ごしやすかったです。 現地についてから電話できた連絡も、英語で対応して頂けてドイツ語が不自由な身としては助かりました。(英語の発音はかなり独特の訛りでしたが繰返してくれたり親切でした) 総じて特に問題もなく快適に過ごせました。

Great Location, Comfortable Stay

The Apartment was in a perfect location with less then 15 min walk to city center and the U3 Metro. Very spacious with everything someone would need for an even longer stay. Even thought we were a bit late, the owner made contact with us via phone and told us how to enter the building and get the key, very easy.

Vienna e il suo fascino.

L'appartamento è ideale per una coppia con un bambino. Si tratta di un monolocale strutturato in modo che la zona giorno sia separata da quella notte. L'appartamento è situato in zona centrale, a due passi dall'Inner Stdt, in una strada parallela al Ringstrasse. Vicinissimi le principali fermate dei tram (nn. 1 - 2) e tre stazioni metro. Unica nota negativa il livello di servizio (dall'accoglienza alle vettovaglie) che andrebbe migliorato. Giudizio finale: ottimo, se dovessi tornare a Vienna, soggiornerei in questa struttura.

합리적인 가격 같아요.

우선 부엌이 있어서 좋았고, 4명이 묵었는데 침대 두개가 커서 좋았어요. 한명이라도 좁은 침대에서 잘까 걱정되었는데 좋았어요. 다만 리셉션이 없어서 좀 당황했어요. 어떻게 들어가야 하는지 몰라서 기다리다가 다른 분이 들어갈 때 껴서 들어갔어요.

Comfortable, great location and great for kids

The apartment is in a great location close to everything in the city core. It is quiet, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We travelled with our 11 and 7 year olds, and the pull-out couch was perfectly adequate for them. For older kids, we would recommend the couch and the cot that is stored in the closet. Checking-in process and communications need to be improved, but overall, a good experience.

It's basically an Air B and B. Great price and location, but you're on your own as far as assistance for tourists. That being said, would reccomend in a heartbeat.

Very polite and attentive staff

We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights. It's in a okay distance from the metro. You have to call or email them ahead of time to arrange keys hangover. It's a 2bedrooms apartment for 6 of us. One of us need to sleep on a sofa bed but they didn't tell us how to open it so we just slept on a couch. Need to call them for extra bath towels and bedsheets,and toilet paper. Wifi was not working and shower head was leaking. But they responded to our calls promptly. I overlooked the 45€ cleaning charge on top of the rental charge which I find it too pricey overall. All in all, the polite and helpful staff make our stay a pleasant one

Schönes Apartment - im Sommer sicherlich zu heiss, da extrem viele Fenster und Dachgeschoss. Sehr sauber und es gibt ja eine Klimaanlage.

Bella soluzione, a due passi dal centro

Subito dopo d'aver prenotato, mi è arrivata una mail che chiedeva l'orario d'arrivo ed avvertiva che il pick-up delle chiavi gratuito era possibile dalle 14 alle 21. Arrivando alle 11, abbiamo deciso ad aspettare e prenotare x le 14. Invece appena atterrati, riceviamo la telefonata dell'agenzia che propone di avere le chiavi subito e gratuitamente (bel gesto!). Arriviamo, però, e troviamo l'appartamento ancora non pulito. Come ci spiegano, per il fatto che abbiamo prenotato le chiavi più tardi. Allora lasciamo le valige e dopo un ora, al nostro ritorno, troviamo tutto perfettamente pulito. L'appartamento stesso ci è piaciuto molto: un bel attico con ogni comodità necessaria: fon, ferro e tavola da stiro, vasca da bagno, wi-fi, tv, dvd player, cucina perfettamente arredata con tanto di microwave e lavastoviglie e persino aspirapolvere.La scelta di aver una cucina si è rivelata giustissima, dato che la sera durante il weekend si fatica a trovare un ristorante aperto. La posizione è buona, 5-10 minuti di camminata dalle vie principali del centro (o 1-2 fermate di metro). Al check-out, la cosa da non poco, dato che l'appartamento quel giorno rimaneva libero, ci è stato permesso di rimanere vino a l'una e mezzo senza alcun problema (fino all'arrivo del servizio delle pulizie che ci ha ritirato le chiavi).

Wien ist immer wieder eine Reise wert, es gibt immer Neues zu entdecken oder Bekanntes zu vertiefen. Besseres Wetter wäre wünschenswert gewesen, aber es ist Dezember. Ein Handycap hatten wir: Den Rückflug hatten wir auf den Sonntagabend gelegt, um den Tag noch voll nutzen zu können. Wir hatten uns vorher erkundigt, wo man das Handgepäck im Altstadtbereich einlagern könnte - mehrere S-Bahnhöfe wurden uns benannt, Mitte wollten wir nutzen wegen der anschließenden Fahrt zum Flugplatz. Alle Schließfächer waren belegt, als wir ankamen. Innerhalb einer halben Stunde Wartezeit sammelte sich eine ganze Traube anderer auf ein Schließfach Wartender. Wir suchten die Information der ÖBB auf und erhielten nach einiger Diskussion auf unsere mündliche Beschwerde die Auskunft, dass auch an den anderen Depotstellen die Situation nicht entspannter wäre und eine mündliche Beschwerde nicht nutzen würde, da das Problem bereits seit Jahren bestehe, in den "oberen Etagen" zur Genüge bekannt sei, man dort jedoch der Meinung wäre, der Bedarf würde eine Kapazitätserweiterung nicht rechtfertigen. Eine unhaltbare Einstellung wie wir in der kurzen Zeit feststellen mussten. Unwürdig einer solchen von Touristen nur so begehrten Stadt. Hätten wir ein Hotel als Unterkunft gewählt, hätte man die Koffer dort sicherlich noch deponieren können, aber bei der Anonymität zur Appartementsverwaltung-? Das wäre für uns ein Grund, Ihre Leistung nicht wieder zu nutzen. Infolge Dauerregens haben wir den Tag vergammelt!
