"This was a lovely space to stay. We were there for diving at Mermet Springs. It is not far from town and easy to get to. For those diving it has a washer and dryer that worked great for wet things. Nice patio for eating outside. We would definately stay again if it's available when we are there"

"If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois."

"The good: Communication with the host was excellent throughout the whole process! The beds and couches were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and pillows. The inside of the house was very clean. The value we got for the money was incredible!The bad: Upon arrival, there was a lot of trash in the yard which wasn't super welcoming. I ended up picking up what I could see. The garbage appeared to have not been taken out in weeks and smelled terrible. There was also a strange...

"Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks."
