Casas de vacaciones privadas en Viena

"We rented this house in 2020 and had a great experience, which is why we returned on August 1, 2026. Unfortunately, the house is not the same.We arrived to find a bed that was broken and propped up with a stack of wood. It leaned so badly it was unusable. I contacted management around 5:00 p.m. and was told someone would come that night. After multiple messages, including one around midnight, no one showed up or even responded. My husband had to sleep on the couch. The next morning they claimed...

"We love staying here after sightseeing around Shawnee!"

"Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks."

"Our family loved our stay at Pa’s house! First time pulling into the Pa’s house property we knew it would be a great stay. The location worked perfect for our hiking adventures, most places were only a 20 min drive away. Several wineries were right down the road. You’re outside of town but can make a quick grocery run if needed. The work done inside and out of this old farm home was wonderfully done. We stayed there with 2 adults and 3 kids and there was everything you need for a weekend trip of...

"The house was nice, clean and spacious. If I had any questions the host responded in a timely manner. It is not too far from Shawnee National Park and trails and Paduka, Ky."

"Very cozy and clean. The beds are very comfortable, there were plenty of spare linens and towels, a large variety of kitchen items and everything functioned properly. It’s only a minute or two drive to the lake."

"Kayla provided us a cozy, clean, and recently updated home to stay in for our week long vacation! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances, air conditioning was adequate during the heat wave, and the washer and dryer came in handy for our swimming and hiking days! The few repairs that needed to be done were made quickly and professionally as soon as I let her know of them. I would recommend this Vrbo again!"

"Property was great for my family of four. Plenty of room and very clean. We had a great time while staying."

"The Clark was comfy, cozy and quiet. It is the perfect reason we chose places like this and not hotels. Great location and the host was excellent, you can't miss with The Clark."

"If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois."

"Very nice property, quite, clean and the pool and deck are awesome!!! My family and I had a great relaxing time, I will definitely consider going back and recommend it if you like relaxing and swimming fun!!!"

"Host was able to book us at the last minute which we appreciate. Love the lake front home. We were able to do some fishing off the dock and enjoy a campfire. Home was lovely and spacious. Host was extremely responsive."

"Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!"

"Dianna, the host, is so nice. She communicated very well, and she went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as it could be. Our check-in was very straightforward. We stayed there for a night to rest on our way to TN, and we will for sure do it again."

"Our family enjoyed this cozy home and enjoyed all the offerings! Loved watching the sunset and all the wildlife! Will definately return!"
