Jane is a great host

We had a great experience at the suite, it’s very big and Jane was always friendly and helpful. The suite is remodeled and everything works perfectly. It’s very nice and spacious. If I had had the heating control would be perfect.

The suite was tidy and well organized. Great neighborhood for walking around to explore nearby beaches and parks. The hosts are kind and responded quickly to any questions and concerns. Our two dogs loved the backyard to run around and lay in the sun. The laundry machines are a huge bonus. Definitely would recommend this suite for pet owners. Thanks again to the host for a wonderful place.

We stayed here for two nights with our dog. It was as described in the listing and photos. A no frills place to lay your head at the end of the day during a quick trip to Victoria. Jane was very responsive to messages. If you plan to bring your dog, plan to bring them with you when you head out for the day or any outings as they are not permitted to be in the suite alone.

The suite had comfortable beds and was located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to a lovely beach and enjoyed the easy access to other areas of Victoria. The rooms were comfortable but lacking pictures on any wall which made the place plain. The bathroom shower was nice with plenty of hot water and the bedrooms offered a desk and chair. We felt we were in a college dorm room due to no TV and sparse furniture. Kitchen supplies were limited and had just the basics. There is an outdoor patio set to enjoy some time in the spacious backyard. The host was great and checked to see if everything was ok. Great communication and we felt very comfortable and relaxed. We would recommend this place for its value and location if you want a quiet neighborhood style of stay. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something pleasant and simple. I definitely would recommend for a budget minded traveller.

A clean and functional unit. Fine for sleeping and having a quick meal and the bathroom is good. The host is communicative and helpful. The area is quiet most of the time.There do not appear to be any shops or restaurants nearby.

Nice location in Victoria

Very nice property in a very pleasant neighborhood. Both bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Lots of light. Access was very easy. Lighting on the property (eg: walkway, driveway, night lights ) was excellent. Bathroom was great - shower had great water pressure and was very clean (the whole place was clean). Owner was very responsive. Just a couple of notes - there is no TV and no lounging area (kitchen only). We suggested to the owners that they get an iron and ironing board, and increase the variety of pots and pans - just to make cooking a little easier. You also have to contact the owners to control the heating. Relatively minor inconveniences. Would definitely return.

We loved the location and proximity to Uvic. The home and backyard were beautifully manicured and clean. The walkway was nice and wide. Quiet neighborhood and convenient location to get into the city and back with a car. I would recommend setting out a brand new sponge to wash dishes with and to upgrade some the hand towels. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay here again.

University Graduation

We stayed in this lovely suite close to UVIC for my daughter’s graduation convocation. Jane the host was very clear & precise with instructions for the suite. It was very clean, open & bright with a lovely yard & patio. Beds were very comfortable as well

Perfect for our needs

We were a parent and members of a sports team and needed a clean and convenient location for sleeping and meal preparation. This unit fit our needs perfectly. It was new, very clean and fit our needs perfectly.
