Second time staying here and had a blast. We love the area and caught a bunch of fish. No big ones this time but lots and lots of small to medium size trout both sand trout and speckle trout. Will definitely try to come back again.

The home has nicer furnishings and is better supplied than most places we have stayed. Our grandchildren loved catching a lot of small Sand Trout. My son caught a 54” Alligator Gar. He also hooked a second gar that ran under the pier and broke the line. And, we enjoyed the fire pit. Our time there went too quickly.

Matagorda Bay Bliss

This home is a perfect get-a-way if you want to experience blissful Matagorda Bay. The amenities were all complete to provide a quiet and peaceful time at the bay waters edge and much more. The pier was perfect for fishing, even if you catch no fish! The sun rises and sun sets will amaze and touch your soul finding absolute inner peace. The description of the property was very accurate, with the screened-in porch a real bonus.

The Perfect Place on the Bay!

This place is gem. Very nicely situated with lots of space, a pool table, screened in porch, a pier with rails (rare), and a huge yard. The two king beds and all the bunk beds make it so easy to have several people stay. The house is so nicely stocked with so much more than I have ever seen. The hosts clearly love their place and want others to enjoy their time. Just down the way is a Marina with live band, bar, and restaurant...this place has it all. We also had Lavaca Bar B Que catered...it's a texas monthly award winner...so good!

Awesome Lake front property!

This house was perfect for our family of 4! It definitely sleeps 4 more! Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time there. There was great space in the garage to put our coolers and stuff. This place had a canoe and fishing rods too! The host has put a lot of effort and detail into this property. It is great for a lake front getaway! Highly recommend!

Weekend Retreat

Some friends met here for the 2nd year for some outdoor recreation and relaxation. It is well equipped and clean. The wind didn’t cooperate for fishing, but the pier is a great bonus. We enjoyed both stays and the owner is very easy to communicate with.
