Beautiful apartment

An amazing apartment to explore Pisa, Lucca and the surrounding area. It has everything you need, is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect for walking to fantastic local restaurants and exploring the historic buildings of Vicopisano. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the hosts are super knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommended for an authentic local experience.

I would say this is the best apartment you could ask for. Beautiful, very clean and spacious. Camilla is an excellent host, gracious and attentive to whatever you need. We loved staying here. Can’t wait to go back👍

Wonderful Experience in Charming Vicopisano

The little town of Vicopisano is a gem and the apartment was exactly as shown online, and so very comfortable. We cooked in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. Excellent communication via WhatsApp with Camilla. It was the height of the summer, so it was warm in the apartment, but there were fans for each room. The listing includes air conditioning, but be advised it is an additional charge per day and you should let them that you want it before check in. We didn't know this, so Camilla had to return to the office to retrieve the A/C remotes. And even then, please know European A/C is not the same as US A/C. But with the fans we were comfortable. An added bonus were passes to the local public pool about a 10 minute drive away. Nice and refreshing on a hot summer day (swim caps required which we borrowed at the front desk). The apartment also has several binders with restaurant and activity suggestions for the area. If you eat meat, don't pass up Testi in Vicopisano. The best steak you will ever have in your life. Also, if you are a musician, Camilla can let you know about the largest instrument/music store in Tuscany (someone we met in Florence even raved about it).

A Wonderfull base for experiences in Tuscany

We had a Wonderfull week in this apartment, enjoying the scenic Vicopisano and its small local restaurants and every day life. It doesn't get more real than this. From Vicopisano everything is within one hour drive. Our host were extremely helpfull, and we could just aske for anything and they would immediately answer with good input. One evening we dined at at great local restaurant and "bumped" into the our landlord. and exchanged friendly greetings. Later we found out that they had paid for the wine. That is great hospitality. Go to Vicapisano, get this apartment and have an almost guaranteed great stay.

Tolle und empfehlenswerte Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen und entspricht der Beschreibung. Sie ist gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und es befindet sich in jedem Zimmer eine Klimaanlage. Auf der deutschen website von homeaway wird die Klimaanlage als Standardaustattung ausgewiesen, eigentlich ist sie aber eine kostenpflichtige Zusatzausstattung. Roberta hat sie uns aber bereits am zweiten Tag ohne Aufpreis zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich würde das nur im Vorfeld klären, damit man nicht eine Nacht schwitzen muss ;-) Außerdem sind die Fenster mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Die Schlüsselübergabe war absolut unkompliziert. Die Vermieterin Roberta ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei der Ankunft standen für uns schon Lebensmittel, Obst, Wein,... bereit. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Lovely apartment

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is so beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook. The beds are very comfortable and I am particular. We loved to drive to other sites and the beach is really close; 30 minutes, then come home to a warm quiet place to relax. The town itself is charming. Every turn of the street and walkway is a picture. We did the tour of the keep and tower. The history of it was really interesting and when you climb the tower the view of Vicopisano and the surrounding area is fantastic. We stayed for about two weeks and couldn't have asked for more. Then there is Roberta, who manages the apartment. She is so warm and kind. This was our first trip to Italy and she made us feel like it was our home. She was always available when we needed her and happy to arrange any excursion we needed. Thank you, Roberta!

delightful enjoyable and fantastic place to stay

Roberto the owner could not do enough to help she supplied a large bowl of fresh fruit that us as two families of 7 members could not eat in 6 days as we stayed in this very comfortable lovely accommadation, There was also pasta and sauces and wines supplied it was just great. The information supplied was also first rate and Vicopisano is a delightful village to base yourself to discover this part of Tuscany. We would recommend that if you want to stay near Lucca and Pisa and not stay where it is very busy that you stay in this wonderful town where everyone is so friendly and helpful. The accommadation has everthing that you need it is like a home away from home. Thank you Roberta we will remember always your delightful holiday home, we were able to create for our family some great memories and your home made it all that more special.

OTTIMA SISTEMAZIONE IN BORGO MEDIOEVALE!!

Ci siamo stati per il capodanno 2019, 4 adulti e 4 bambini. La casa è fantastica, con ogni tipo di comfort e pulitissima. Letti e lenzuola al top. La proprietaria, persona squisita e gentile, ci ha accolti omaggiandoci con un piccolo presente. Abbiamo sistemato i 4 bambini in mansarda che è diventata il loro regno. A pochi passi si trovano market, pizzeria, trattoria, farmacia. Ottima per visitare Pisa, Lucca, Volterra..... consigliatissima!!

Fabulous apartment, magnificent setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roberta's. We were in touch multiple times before our arrival and were met when we came. The apartment was very large, comfortable, meticulously clean and very inviting. Roberta left us fresh fruit, and many other goodies. We were a family of 2 couples and 3 teenage/young adult children and there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all. It is perfectly located in magnificent Tuscany. One hr from Florence, one hr from Cinque Terre, and very close to Lucca and Pisa.; Each day, her assistant asked if we needed anything. There was plenty of help for places to visit, etc left for us in the house. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any family, and I'd certainly come back again on another trip.

Wonderful! Fantastic Tuscan holiday.

Roberta, Francesca and Giovanni were fabulous and attentive hosts. From before we arrived Roberta was in contact to make sure we would have everything we needed. Then Francesca and Giovanni were there when we arrived with a warm welcome and we’re reassuringly on hand should we have needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. You really are made to feel like you have a friend on the end if the line to help should you need it. The apartment is gorgeous and beautifully furnished with everything you need for your stay. It lives up to its name with the beautiful view from the window! Upon arrival there is a fantastic welcome pack with wine, tea, coffee etc, pasta and sauce for making your 1st meal and a generous selection of fruit (I especially enjoyed the peaches!). There is also basics for cooking such as oil, salt and pepper, few spices, garlic etc all ready and waiting. Vicopisano itself is wonderful. Lots to see locally with bars, bakery, small supermarket, ice cream parlour and restaurants. All making you feel welcome. Great pizza and Calzone from Le Belle Torri. A tour around the fortress is a must. You are also only a short drive away from Pisa, Lucca, Florence and many other places. There are very useful information folders in the apartment with details of loads of places to visit. If you go to Florence, we recommend driving to Villa Constanza and then getting the tram into Florence itself. You are also only a short drive to the sea and there are some very nice, family beaches at Marina Di Vecchiano. It was quite busy in some areas but still just lovely. L'Osteria del Parco Restaurant there has fantastic seafood and friendly service with Frank Sinatra playing the background. Highly recommended! Visit the local olive farm in Vicopisano for delicious oil, red wine and kiwi liqueur! Overall, we had an amazing week in Vicopisano at Casa Belle Vista. It has become a firm favourite and we hope to be able to visit again. Thank you Roberta, Francesca and Giovanni xx

Charming , authentic amazing experience!

Where to start! Roberta was an amazing host right from the time of booking. The pictures do not do this property and area justice, it was awesome! We were treated to a typical Tuscan holiday complete with a private olive oil and wine tasting session. Roberta and her fabulous assistant Francesca looked after our every need, from ordering taxis to setting up and accompanying us for a truly delightful wine and olive oil tasting experience. Nothing was too much trouble! The apartment is huge with every home comfort you would desire. We were greeted with the most fabulous welcome pack I have ever experienced, including fruit, pasta, sauce, tea, coffee, wine and prosecco! Roberta, Francesca, vicopisano and the property deserves a 10/10 and I can’t wait to return!!

Amazing place to stay!!!

I tell every one of my friends, neighbors and my clients: this is where you want to stay when you like to be in the Tuscany. It is like at home. Nothing missing! Roberta is a wonderful host, her family really knows how to make you feel comfortable. Beautifully decorated, great quality finish, Even your first meal is here ready to cook. The town is picturesque the location fabulous and Roberta is always to be reached to give you advice where to go. We will be back, we loved it. Als Gast herzlich willkommen!!!

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr empfehlenswert! Sie hat ein besonderes Flair und ist dazu noch sehr gut ausgestattet: Handtücher, Bettbezüge, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, etc. alles vorhanden, sowie ein Willkommenspaket mit Früchten, Secco und mehr! Der Ort Vicopisano ist von historischer Bedeutung und infrastrukturell gut angebunden. Roberta als Gastgeberin ist unübertroffen (vielen Dank noch einmal!!!), sehr herzlich und hat sehr gute lokale Empfehlungen. Hier fühlten wir uns als Touristen herzlich willkommen!

Truly the most beautiful and memorable place to stay.

Roberta was a wonderful host- very helpful at check in and quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is absolutely beautiful and the town of Vicopisano is breathtaking. Spring time in this town provide hints of jasmine through the streets. We were lucky to be there on the weekend of a fiore festival (festival of flowers) and we felt like a member of the community. Parking is available at the end of the road in a public lot or along the narrow street of the house. Thank you Roberta and we’ll be back the next time we visit our family in Italy!

hele fijne en schone woning, keurig aankomstpakket met fruit, water wijn en koffie en een hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar, vooraf functioneel appcontact over aankomsttijd. slaapplaats voor 8 mensen, de zolder is ook relatief makkelijk om te toveren in 2 gescheiden "kamers". Plek is prima midden in dorpje met diverse winkeltjes en eetgelegenheid, en dichtbij Pisa , Lucca, strand en ook goed genoeg voor Florence en Vinci. in de woning functionele tips van de eigenaar, over hoe waar en wat te vinden is.

Het huis is zeer compleet met mooie kamers en veel luxe. Het huis is ook diervriendelijk. Wij waren met 2 volwassenen, 4 kinderen en een hond. Veel mooie bezienswaardigheden en stranden op ongeveer een 40min rijden vanaf het vakantiehuis. Heel mooi dorp met alle praktische voorzieningen zoals supermarkt, pinautomaat, postkantoor en horecagelegenheden. Eigenares is heel vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Zij weet veel van de omgeving en heeft veel bruikbare tips aan ons gegeven,

Alles super!

Wir haben die Unterkunft mit 6 Personen (4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) bezogen. Die Räumlichkeinen sind alle sehr schön eingerichtet! Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hat für alles eine Lösung. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich auch selbst noch wieder kommen!

A beautiful Tuscany home!

We stayed at Casa Bella Vista for 9 days, and we loved it! The appartement is even more beautiful than in the pictures, and very clean and well equipped. We had our to teenaged girls with us, and the appartement was very spacious for the four of us. Vicapisano is a wonderful little village, and everyone was so friendly. We were going on a lot of sightseeing, never using more than an hour with car; Lucca, Florence, Volterra, Pisa, Marina di Pisa and Castiglioncello. Roberta was so sweet and helpful at all time, she even had prepared a map for us as I told her we would like to go for morning runs. She was so friendly and really made us feel welcome, and was ready to help us whenever we contacted her. We really recommend this appartement, and hope to be back!

A little piece of Tuscan Heaven!

I booked Casa Bella Vista in order to share a significant birthday with family and friends; 8 of us and three more in the sister apartment downstairs. It looked perfect in the photos and was even better in reality....spacious, beautifully decorated,well situated in a small but very welcoming hill town and run by an excellent hostess, Roberta. She could not have been more helpful or more enthusiastic about her lovely home town! Everyone was thrilled and the highlight was a marvellous in-home cooking class that she arranged, perfect for all my guests who ranged in age from 8 to 72. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a love of Italy and of life in a medieval village.
