Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, mitten in der Natur. Sehr ruhig. Der Pool ist herrlich gelegen, in der Sonne, allerdings unbeheizt. Sehr kalt im Oktober. Aber zum Füße reinhalten herrlich. Nette Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, vor allem die Küche. Wir waren 11 Erwachsene, ein Kind und ein Hund und es waren genug Utensilien vor Ort. Manchmal musste man beim Duschen auf warmes Wasser warten und hier und da könnten vielleicht Glühbirnen ausgetauscht werden oder Amarturen nochmal festgezurrt werden. Aber an sich: Eine sehr sehr schöne Unterkunft und wir waren total happy.

A place for everyone

This place was exactly what i hoped for.!! Plenty of space for everyone, with 14 friends. Plenty of seats too. Big kitchen!!! The patio was our favorite place, and the vieuws are spectacular from different angles. Inside temperature is cool. Because there are fans and all rooms have shutters.

Tolles Haus in der Toskana für viele!

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in den Herbstferien in der Toskana verbracht. Das Haus ist riesengroß und bietet super viel Platz. Die Umgebung ist toll. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das auf dem Grundstück wohnende Hausmeister Pärchen steht immer für Fragen zur Verfügung, für frische Brötchen wird auf Wunsch gesorgt. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub! Danke an alle!

Very relaxing holiday with family and friends

The house is comfortable and fully served our purpose. We could enjoy 100% privacy at the pool. The kitchen is big and well equipped. Supermarkets are closeby. Lots of activities on a short distance. The view from the pergola is stunning. I recommend this accommodation for a lovely holiday.

We were 16 adults and a babie and enjoyed the stay. There was enough place in this beautifull house. Everything was as described. We can realy recommend the house. We all hope that we will have the opportunity to come back.

Comfortable property in a beautiful setting

The property has a wonderful pool and outdoor seating area. The house is very clean and the owner/ caretaker are extremely helpful. We had a great family holiday here. There are good restaurants and supermarkets nearby and a station with trains to Florence nearby.

Heerlijk familieweek in mei

Het huis is zeer geschikt voor een opa en oma met kinderen en kleinkinderen. We waren met 8 volwassenen en zes kinderen. Er is ruimte genoeg voor iedereen zodat het gezellig is maar je niet bovenop elkaar zit. Fijn zwembad en goede speelgelegenheid voor de kinderen. ‘S avonds was het soms een beetje kil, dan stookten we de open haard waarvoor ook in hout was voorzien. Alles functioneerde prima . De ligging is prachtig en staat van onderhoud goed. En mijn jongste kleinzoon kon de 1e dag zijn bed niet vinden. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving en restaurants in alle prijsklassen in Vicchio.

10 Erwachsene und 7 Kinder (3-10 J) fühlten sich rundum wohl in diesem großzügig geschnittenen und anmutigen Haus, Garten, Freisitz, Pool. Die hilf- und ideenreiche Besitzerin und das freundliche Hausmeisterpaar waren auf Wunsch ansprechbar.

Beautiful traditional Tuscan villa with stunning views.

Just perfect for us. Secluded, spacious traditional villa with great views from both the outdoor eating area and the pool. Close to local facilities in Vicchio and Borgo but far enough away to give a relaxed ‘away from it all’ atmosphere. We had the most wonderful, memorable holiday.

Friends in Italy

The villa was beautiful, just as described in the photos. There were 5 of us and we have plenty of room. The weather was chilly and rainy so did not take advantage of the pool at the top of the hill. The villa was close to shops, restaurants, grocery store and the train station in Vicchio if you wanted to get into Florence without driving. Our only drawback was that no one spoke English and the lovely Italian couple who were the caretakers on site didn't speak any English. However, we managed quite well for the week.

A beautiful property which exceeded our expectations with one of the best views in a Tuscany.

Extremely good value for money. Property better than photos. Particular positives include pool, views, outdoor eating area. However car needed and if you choose to use a taxi the local service expensive. Delightful setting with own vineyard. The owner makes their own wine which you can buy from the house - I would recommend the red. Pisa, Florence, Sienna were visited during the week as well as a wine tasting, tiramisu making classes and a trip to the famous Mugello race track.. We also made the most of the table tennis, basketball and BBQ on site. All in all a very memorable trip with family and friends.

Wijn drinken uit 'eigen' wijngaard onder de Toscaanse zon met uitzicht op de vallei

We waren hier twee weken met onze familie & vrienden en vierden de 60e verjaardag van mijn echtgenoot. Het huis en het land erom heen bied veel ruimte, ook voor mensen die liever wat op zichzelf een boekje willen lezen. Het zwembad ligt iets van het huis verwijderd en wat hoger, zodat hier ongestoord genoten kan worden. Vanuit het zwembad heb je een mooi uitzicht op het torentje van de buren. Er staan 6 ligbedden met een handig dakje voor schaduw in je gezicht en zes ligstoelen en er is een douche op het deck. Het afdakje/huisje voor de woning is erg handig om overdag in de schaduw te zitten. Wij gebruikten het voor het ontbijt en om ’s avonds een lopend buffet van te maken. Wij hadden een lange tafel met bankjes voor het huis gezet om ’s avonds buiten te dineren met het adembenemende uitzicht op het dal en de wijnhelling. De wijn van deze helling dronken wij dan tijdens de maaltijd: Vino Colina di Giotto. Deze kan voor een appel en ei gekocht worden bij het echtpaar dat het huis beheert: Bruno en Beppina. En vriendelijk ouder echtpaar dat een klein deel van het huis bewoond en klaar staat met raad en daad. Wij vonden dat de keuken beter kan, want er is niet echt sprake van een handig aanrecht. Maar het is wel een hele gezellige ruimte. Er zijn genoeg schalen, borden, bestek en wijnglazen. De woonkamer werd door ons gezelschap niet gebruikt, maar het werd wel een toevluchtsoord in verband met een snurkende partner. Op de foto’s had ik het idee dat de openhaard in de keuken stond, maar dit is niet het geval. Dit is een aparte kamer, waar ook het modem staat. Wij noemden dit het internetcafé. Wij hadden onze schoonmoeder van 87 mee. Ze is slecht ter been en loopt met een rollator maar met hulp heeft ze zich toch kunnen redden. Er is geen slaapkamer op de begane grond, maar als je de woonkamer niet gebruikt en hier een bed neerzet, kan dit prima dienst doen als waanzinnig ruime slaapkamer. Op de benedenverdieping is een eenvoudige badkamer met douche zonder drempel. Wel heeft de voordeur een afstapje en de achterzijde en de keuken hebben een afstapje met twee treden. De stenen trap met aan beide zijden een handrail voert naar boven waar alle slaapkamers zijn. Die handrail heb je wel nodig, want je hebt het gevoel dat je achterover helt. Aan de voorkant hebben één badkamer en de twee grootste slaapkamers uitzicht over de vallei en het wijnveld. De andere zes slaapkamers liggen aan de achterkant en zijn allemaal even groot. Wijn komen graag terug!

Beautiful House in a wonderful location

Our extended family aged 3 to 75 really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house and pool. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors and was great to have such wonderful views and the opportunity to eat outside for every meal under the pergola. The town was not far away, but would recommend a car to get around and make the most of what the region has to offer. We also got the train to Florence which was only 45 mins away. Any issue we had was dealt with quickly by the on-site house managers (despite our lack of Italian and theirs of English!) and the owner was also helpful with local advice. Only suggestion that came from one of our group was to have a microwave as would have been helpful for the little ones, but apart from that everything was great!
