About the village of Veyrier-du-Lac:

This Savoyard village is situated on the shores of Lake Annecy; its grassy beaches provide easy access to the lake and a wide range of activities (stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, water skiing, kayaking, and boat rentals...).
A very pleasant lakeside walk will take you to the neighboring village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard.
In Veyrier-du-Lac, all local amenities are available: convenience stores, bakeries, florists, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, and doctors.

The house is also located at the trailhead for the Mont Veyrier hike; you can reach the summit in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
