I stayed here for one night with my family of four while visiting Verona. The apartment is quite small, although we were able to cook dinner and make it work for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, and the apartment felt cozy and homey.
Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay were frustrating. The biggest issue was payment. The host required payment in cash, which was not clearly communicated and created a lot of confusion and inconvenience. We would have strongly preferred to pay through Expedia. We ended up having to contact Vrbo for confirmation that we would not be charged twice, and then find an ATM and withdraw cash.
Parking was also inconvenient. The apartment is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. The host initially told us we could leave the car parked the next morning, but after we had already walked into town, she messaged us asking us to return immediately and move the car. This disrupted our plans and was quite inconvenient.
Overall, we felt that the price was high for what was offered. While the apartment was clean, comfortable, and had good air conditioning, the payment process, parking issues, and distance from the center made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped.
