So If you Need some Soul Therapy, Secluded Relaxation, this is the place. Bullock Pen Lake is one of NKY's Premier Fishing, Kayaking & Paddle Boarding Lakes. Located in Beautiful Rolling Hill Farm Country, 15 minutes to Ark Encounter (16.9 miles), and in the heart of Verona's bustling Wine Country with Verona Vineyards (4.7 miles), Schoolyard Winery (2.5 miles), Brianza Garden Winery (5.6 miles) , Grape Vines Wine Bar (4.4) miles nearby. The property was so peaceful. Enjoyed all the nature. Enjoyed kayaking. The bottom mattress on bunk bed was a little uncomfortable for an adult but probably good for kids. The host was wonderful and enjoyed the sweet dog next door. Will visit again.

Nice little place. Out of the way. Quiet and private. Gorgeous view of the lake. The house was exceptionally clean. We highly recommend this sweet little place if you are looking for something different and peaceful.

This was a lovely little (2 bedroom) cottage…perfect for fishing and relaxing! Love the rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the lake. We didn’t have time to fish or kayak as we were there to see the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The VRBO was very comfy…great sofas inside. Had a visit daily from Roxy the dog. Sweet. Will return.

Perfect little weekend getaway. House is in a beautiful little spot. Plenty to do in the area and close. Great view and kayaks were fun should have brought some fishing poles but I will next time

This place is the perfect location with a large porch overlooking a lake. The view, including the wildlife, trees, etc., is a wonderful escape from all of the noise and busy pace of the city.

We enjoyed our time on the back porch overlooking the lake in the evenings. We watched the beavers swimming around the dock as well as the herring and rabbits. Very relaxing after a busy day at the Ark.

Great place!

It may seem like you aren't at the right place, or that youre driving thru someone's yard, but once we got to the house, we had the best time. The directions were perfect, and the house was clean, and had everything we needed to have a great trip!
