I want to start by saying, I hate that I had to rate this place so low.I really, really wanted to like it!The cute pink house!The location!The kitchy decor!BUT.... When we walked it, there was an overwhelming musty smell. I had hoped it would disappear after a couple of hours but in the 6 days we were there, it never did. It was really bad, the closets were the worst. I could even smell it on the bedsheets at night. I kept my clothes in my suitcase the entire week but unfortunately on returning home, the smell came with us, and I had to wash some items twice to rid the smell. Even though the description and pics show it is not one of those updated homes, I was fine with the eclectic, although there is a difference between eclectic and dirty. The air vent in the hallway was full of dirt and the fridge had noticeable dirt as well.Yes the surfaces of the rooms were clean but when you see things overlooked like that, it makes you wonder what else they shortcut in the cleaning dept.The patio was a disaster. I would have had to hose it off completely to enjoy it.So needless to say we did not spend time out there. I want to emphasis that it takes A LOT for me to leave this type of review, but I rely on reviews to book and this house received 10/10 on all their reviews.Not 1 mention of the SMELL!I am truly hoping this was a one-off and they will quickly remedy the issues because the location is amazing. And we did have an issue with the beach gear that was taken care of immediately.

Pretty in Pink

We loved the roomy house, comfortable bed, indoor and outdoor seating. We didn’t get to use the beach equipment but appreciated it was available. So close to the beautiful beach. A great rental experience!

Great stay in a very comfortable house

We loved our stay in Chris' house. Everything was just as described, clean and comfortable. We were 5 people in the house plus one dog, and the space was nicely laid out to give everyone privacy (one person slept on the couch in the living room). We really loved the proximity to the beach and the leisurely walk into town every day.

Fantastic small house near beach

Absolutely could't have been more pleased. Spouse and I wanted week of sun ahead of it warming up in New England, (first week of March). Rental was exactly as advertised. Just three houses from a great beach - no need to load up the car to get there. Place was very clean, and the kitchen well equipped for any type of cooking. Especially liked that there were beach chairs, beach carry bags and umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys for kids. There were a few one speed bikes for exploring the area but my wife and I rented geared bikes from a local shop that dropped them off and picked them up at the end. Considerable thought has been given to make to make this a "turn key" beach vacation house. Chris, the owner stopped to see if we needed anything. We didn't, but it was reassuring to know he was close by if we did. It was a great place for the two of us, but would also be a perfect place for a kid oriented vacation. My daughter plans to bring her small family their next year.

Great Beach House!

We stayed in this cute house over Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well stocked and in an excellent location, just a 1/2 block from the beach! We loved our stay and would happily rebook the next time we're in the area!

Anniversary stay

We loved the decor of the house and it was so close to the beach . They provided everything we needed for the beach and kitchen . The little pizza shop around the corner had great food and menu variety. Perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It’s a quiet community and the beach was not crowded

Did not want to leave

The sound of the ocean and the cool breezes while sitting on the front porch was very nice. The neighborhood is very peaceful with beautiful vegetation everywhere. You will truly enjoy this home and what it has to offer. The beach is just a few steps away and there is so much to see and do.

Great location and value

Stayed for a week while our son was at Jackie Robinson training facility. Quick and easy walk to expansive beach with local pizza shack just around the corner. About a mile to the cute shops and multiple restaurants off Club drive. The house is well equipped..not fancy..just comfortable and charming snapshot in time. Ample parking. Owners available and accomodating. Worth the stay.. and easy for friends to find you in the "pink" house.

Great Beach Holiday

We try to stay at the Coral Cottage for a winter break every year. Great location by beautiful South Beach. A safe quiet neighborhood. Fenced yard for our spaniel. You will occasionally meet the hosts in the neighborhood walking their Dalmatian. The house has everything you need for a fun beach vacation

Best stay in Vero Beach

From the town we checked in to the time we left the host was more than responsive. Helping with everything from extra boogie boards to accommodate our family of five to being at the house with affordable air conditioner within a few hours of the house AC going out. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Adorable cottage

Overall, this cottage has everything you could possibly need for time on or near the beach. The location is perfect - close to everything. It is an older cottage, but I felt that this added to its charm. It was immaculate and well stocked.
