  • Casa Carla is on two floors with white marble floors, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a large bath. The house enters from the street, Via Carattino and is very private. It is just steps away from the main street and the beach. The furniture is of high quality and antiques. The outdoor space is on two levels with plenty of room for outdoor dining and lounging. You can come back from the sea and leave all wet towels and clothes to dry in the sun. We hope you enjoy it!

Great location. Very spacious. The patio seating area was a nice place to relax and view the Main Street. Would definitely recommend for a larger group.

House is lovely with great terraces. The train is nearby and quite loud if the windows are open. Excellent laundry, kitchen, and bathrooms.

Awesome location in the centre of Vernazza. Great home base from which to visit Cinque Terre by train or hikes. Great terraces with views for late afternoon drinks / aperitivo. Good communication with host, easy to connect, and very helpful.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here for 4 days. The location is great, very easy to get to the center of town and to/from the train station. Yes, there are lots of stairs, but that goes without saying in Cinque Terre. While the inside of the apt is a little old, it was as expected in Vernazza. My husband and I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening. A portable white noise machine helps drown out some of the train noise at night. We would stay here again.

Cute villa located close to the train station. When you get there simply send one person from your party to get the key. Otherwise you will be lugging your baggage unnecessarily through the village. If you wait near the Pharma, you will go up from there to find your villa. Julia and Paola are excellent hosts.

Casa Carla offers great living space and a spacious outside patio. We were two couples, and we each had a comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage space and a nearby full bathroom. A smaller third bedroom has two single beds. As others have noted, you are near the train station, and you must climb many steps to get to the apartment. Paolo and Julia communicated with us clearly and even helped us reserve parking.

Stayed in Casa Carla 3 nights and enjoyed being in I believe one of the prettiest villages in Cinque Terra. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace each evening and staying in the heart of town however if you are not good with stairs this is not the place for you. Paolo was attentive with a few issues we had. Co - op (food store) literally downstairs for supplies. Memorable holiday with friends.

Nice place. Nice balcony

We liked the place. Short distance to everything. We stayed 3 nights and it was very good. It is a little bit noisy with the train, but I guess it is like that everywhere in the village.

We loved the outdoor terraces. The apartment is a bit worn, but still a good place. There are A LOT OF STAIRS to climb to get to the apartment. We loved Vernazza and the Cinque Terre.

Vernazza Casa Carla

Casa Carla was perfect for our group of 5 people. We loved sitting on the terrace, watching the people below and the trains come and go. It is quite a climb with luggage, but worth it.

Beautiful Terrace, Comfortable home

Nice property with a beautiful terrace. Comfortable. Yes, there are stairs, but that is part of living and staying in Vernazza. It was hot, there is air conditioning but for the living area. Also, I think an authentic part of staying in Vernazza.

Wonderful Setting

Centrally located in Veenqzza, the uphill trek to and from Casa Carla really gives the impression of how the local lives. The property is perfect for family, the patio which overlooks the village is perfect for morning coffee or late night relaxing. Comfortable and cozy.

Cinque Terre

The property is very much a part of Vernazza and Cinque Terre. We were greated by the host and escorted to the property and given a tour of the house. Beautiful views of town. Close to train station.

Vernazza gem

Wonderful base for our 6 night stay in Cinque Terre. 2 couples and we loved this apartment with 2 balconies. Paolo and Julia were great hosts and made check-in and out very easy. Lots of stairs to climb and train station nearby but this only added to the charm. Highly recommend this apartment.

Incredible view of the entire City

We stayed at Casa Carla for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Although you need to take quite a few stairs to get to the apartment it is well worth it. The views of the city and the main street are great. You are a short walk to everything Vernazza has to offer. The apartment beds are comfortable and it has everything you would need to make your stay special.

Best Italain stay

Paolo, our host, kindly greeted us while running his restaurant and gave us some pointers about the town. This 3 bedroom apartment is perfectly located up just a few steps to the top of the building with views of the train station and all the businesses in the Main Street. When all the tourists leave for the day, you will be glad you stayed. Great service. Great restaurants everywhere.

Fabulous apartment, great location

Pros: centrally located in the heart of Vernazza along the trail to Corniglia, comfortable for six people, awesome terrace, charming entrance, washer, Paolo was very friendly at check in. Cons: no dryer like the listing says (but you can hang clothes outside), lots of stairs (fine for us but would be difficult for the elderly or disabled), noisy with train and church bells, no communication about checkout.Overall a fantastic place--highly recommended!
