"Booked this listing, all seemed well. No contact from the property owner, but assumed they’d reach out as we got closer to the trip. The day of check-in, I still had not heard from the owner. I called the number on the VRBO listing and it was clearly a burner phone. Had no way of accessing the property with lack of response. Had to scramble and find new accommodations last minute. I’ve never had such a horrible experience."

"We were quite comfortable and really enjoyed the use of the kitchen. We had a little trouble navigating the TV but watched what we could find. The condo has a lot of light, more than those who live outside a city were used to. We were unable to arrive as planned and checked in the next day, however our host extended our check out time which gave us a chance to explore our surroundings. The host was wonderfully helpful and made our stay enjoyable."

"We stayed a long weekend at Mandalay Beach House. The location was excellent, it truly sits on the sand of the beach. There was plenty of room for our large party to stay and enjoy ourselves.The house itself is a bit older, but it is clean and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property owner/manager was quick to respond and was very helpful. "

"Some minor repairs needed during the stay in the showers and other minot issues but all good due to the view and location.Floor plan a little odd as access to one bedroom and bath is from an elevator in the garage.Great service from the owners rep."

"Great day, great location! Very nice place that was very clean and well appointed."

"The place has been remodeled and is beautiful, The spa is great it's just such nice place to feel the beach scene. The magnificent bathroom was amazing. After my wife took a shower she said "That was the best shower ever, my hair is so clean" The owner was great, can't say enough what a treasure it is. "

"Property is nice, Unfortunately the property is a little dated and the cleaning crew that they have working for them is below subpar. The showers were moldy, the property was picked up but not clean. Hard to sleep in the Master bedroom with all the lights of the harbor and the park. It really has a Great view and located next to a nice family and pet friendly park. In all fairness, we would stay there again but it would be nice for it to be better kept up and cleaned. Host was nice and...

"The location and proximity to Silver Strand beach and surrounding area was great. Just a short walk to the beach, and you can see boats coming and going from the harbor from the upstairs living room. Highly recommend getting a breakfast burrito at The Strandwich.Property is pretty basic. Aside from the pool table and TV there are no other interior activities (books, games, puzzles, etc) so bring those with you if you want them. "Overall experience was absolutely great....It's and older house ..so not a lot of Modern amenities. But it was spacious..beautiful and Clean. Kitchen lights flicker a lil bit at times...But its an amazing house...I would definitely choose this house again."

"This is easily one of the most beautiful houses I have stayed at. We noticed the attention to detail. It was clean, well stocked & the views were gorgeous. Our hostess was communicative. My bachelorette weekend with my closest friends was made was made even more memorable by this breathtaking location. It is well worth the windy & steep drive up to the villa but please be aware that it may be difficult for drivers to get there. One of our Uber drivers cancelled our ride because they could not...
