This place couldn't have been more perfect for our family vacation. Location, location, location! It was the most perfect location. Was even walking distance to my cousins' who was hosting our extended family reunion. And even though you are right next to the neighbors, it was exceptionally quiet as well.Cruz was a great host and was quite expeditious in answering our questions. Hoping it's available next year when we'll be back in town. Thanks Cruz - we loved your place.

Great Location for Beach or Bike Lovers

Quiet street with secluded patio entry in front, and driveway in back. Lots of space for multi-generational groups. We loved the balcony with ocean views! Cool October evenings were perfect to leave the windows open. TV was easy to use, kitchen was adequate, and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed several bike rides -- to the pier (north) and the harbor (south). Convenient to shopping, cool downtown Ventura, even Santa Barbara, Ojai and Hollywood (we visited them all). Folks, vacation rentals are homes that are "lived in," and you can't take out a magnifying glass and expect perfection. A few minor maintenance issues (burned out bulb, icemaker not working) did not affect our stay at all. The neighbors come out to see the sun set every night. This was a good value -- I recommend it.

Great place and close to the beach!!

Great view of the ocean from the living room and the deck. About 4 houses from the beach. The place is well kept and very comfortable. Would stay there again!

Really nice place and location

Great place, awesome location. Stayed with my elderly parents and friends - was worried at first about the stairs to the living room and kitchen and 2 bedrooms but they did fine. Loved the upstairs deck with great views to the beach. And great lighting in living room . We had nice weather too, walked to the beach and hung out, appreciated the wagon with beach chairs! Only thing that could be improved is more attention to details like in the kitchen - one stove top burner knob broken and the ice maker in freezer doesn’t work. Otherwise thank you for a great stay.

Perfect locator 3 year old twins, a 5 year old, their parents and grandparents. Steps to beautiful beach. Sand toys, chairs too. Would definitely recommend this place

Awesome place

This place was right by the beach. Perfect home and space for a little getaway with family. We were all a little concerned because of COVID-19. Everything worked out fine. House was clean with hand sanitizer everywhere, plus we brought extra with us. Beds were comfortable, with lots of space. Kitchen was awesome with open spaces to talk amongst our family. Lots of goodies to take to beach, chairs,umbrella, kids toys and boogie boards. I was born and raised in Ventura and moved away miss the beach so much. This was great location and house to spend with family. Will diffently want to stay again at this house.

Beautiful property

The property couldn't have been more beautiful. Everything was great, clean, well laid out. Great neighborhood. My only complaint is that it's been 2.5 weeks and I still haven't received the required hefty deposit back after multiple calls and follow ups. I was waiting to get that resolved before reviewing the property because other than that it was perfect. TREE Real Estate please look into this and make it right and I will be happy to update this review. *UPDATE* I called the main line and got the refund back. I would recommend the property but be sure to follow up for your deposit. Be aware, there are 5 twin sized beds, bunk beds and two queens. So if you have tall people in your party, this is something to consider. There was ample parking for multiple vehicles. Also, be aware it gets warm inside the house in the mornings, the sun shines right in and there are no window shades, shutters, etc.

Family Time with Brother

I visited Ventura to spend time with my Brother who lives in the area. This property is exactly as listed and much cleaner and maintained better than most HomeAway’s I have stayed in prior. I was not disappointed. The only issue we had was the WiFi name and password they gave us is not correct but we were able to get that info off the router they had in the TV stand. They just need to update those instructions and everything would have been perfect.

Wonderful for our big family!

We have been coming to this area for years, but this home is definitely the best one we have found as our family has grown. The location is perfect -- close to the beach, but quiet; the view is a wonderful bonus. The open floor plan means that everyone can doing things together (playing games, eating) or can be doing separate things ( playing games, reading or drinking coffee out on the deck, making cookies, a baby napping within earshot . . . ) The amenities were great -- bikes, beach chairs and umbrella, sand toys . . . Linens comfortable and plentiful . . . BBQ and outdoor eating area perfect for hosing off from the beach and all sitting together around the big table . . . A real hit with us (ages 8 months - 60+!)

Great beach house getaway

We had a great family vacation at the Sandy Feet Retreat! The location is a few houses from the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house had an amazing deck to relax and look out at the ocean. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes to enjoy during our stay. There is room to park in the garage as well as private parking spaces behind the house. The house had a cozy feel and had plenty of room for our party of 7. It is within a 10 minute drive of downtown Ventura, so there are many restaurant options close by. There is also a market a few blocks away if you want to cook at home. The kitchen is small but well appointed. We would definitely rent this house again when we are back in town.

An amazing location. Our mornings were greeted daily by the sights and sounds of the ocean. The kids were able to have their own space and our whole family loved the coziness of the house. We can’t wait to come back!

great beachfront home

took a golf trip with some buddies to Ventura, and stayed at the Sandy Feet Retreat. Great home, great location. Very nice living/dining room area, with a balcony overlooking the beach. Beds were very comfortable, but the pink "princess room" definitely too small for a full grown adult male. Overall, a great experience.

Fun Walk to beach

Wonderful for our family of 5 kids ranging in age from 9 mos. To 9 years. Plenty of beach toys in garage, beach chairs, etc. They loved the bunk beds and the deck. So close to the beach.

Great location and comfortable fit 6 adults and 2 teenagers.

House was clean and well equipped and beds were comfortable. Main floor balcony view of the beach is wonderful. Main floor hallway bath didn’t drain well, but I also did not reach out to management to fix Our stay was short. I would stay here again. Ventura is a great place to visit.
