Greg was amazing and very accommodating. His communication was seamless from start to finish. The property was spotless! He had everything you need and more! He goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. I wish i could give him more than 5 stars! Can't wait to come back next year!!!!

The whole experience was awesome. Very clean house, it had everything we needed and more. I will miss my morning coffee out by the pool. The hosts were more then accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

This truly IS the house you've been looking for! Beautiful home, super comfortable furniture & beds. Kitchen literally has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The lanai & pool area is very well appointed offering multiple areas to relax or dine while enjoying the lovely view of the yard. The home is spotless inside & out. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay & feel at home. We will definitely be back!!

Fun in the sun!

Everything was wonderful at this home and we all enjoyed our vacation. We spent time around the pool, sat in the patio area for a few meals and were able to just relax. The house is spacious and clean and very well stocked. We appreciated the chairs to take to the beach and all the beach towels, etc. Great Florida vacation!

the Palms on Shamrock Dr is a place where you can relax, recreate and also visit Venice

We arrived after dark and were very happy with the accommodations. The front entrance patio and plants are so welcoming. The bedrooms were perfect. We basically lived on the lanai enjoying conversations and meals in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. The saltwater pool was refreshing, a perfect temperature, and left our skin feeling soft. In addition, there was a separate spigot at the kitchen sink for drinking water that had been filtered. A coffee bar was fully stocked with with both caffeinated and decaf drinks in addition to coffee mate creamer. All of the utensils, pots and pans, and kitchen utilities (blender) were there and in good condition. In addition, I used one of the bikes. I just had to pump up tires with the provided pump.. It was in good condition, and I was able to ride 22 miles one day and 16 miles along the legacy rails-to-trail. The owners had supplied a map in the welcome book! Downtown Venice is within a couple of miles with other shopping centers close by with plenty of places to eat. There was an intercoastal waterway access thru a park a little over a mile away. We had a great stay and had a good experience with owners as well. This was two weeks after Hurricane Milton, so this location was in amazingly great shape despite damage in the vicinity. We would absolutely recommend this place with any reservations.

Everything about the experience was of high value and class. From the customer service Greg provided leading up to and throughout our stay via text and email. To all amenities at the VRBO including but not limited to toiletries, bedding, towels, kitchen supplies and spices and condiments, the pool, and location. lofurnishings, instructions, and location.

Great Getaway

This house was more than expected. The layout for the house was perfect. It was cleaned and stocked with many useful items. Pool was wonderful. Add a great location only minutes from the beach.

Great Property!

We had an amazing time here. The location was convenient to lots of beaches as well as dining. The house was one of the best equipped houses we have stayed in, really does have everything you need. Highly recommend staying here and will likely book again!

Just perfect! Book it now!

We finally found a house that was just perfect for a Florida vacation with our fur baby. This house had everything we needed for the beach, fully fenced in yard for our dog with privacy from neighbors and room to run and play. The pool was perfect with lots of seating. The hosts were easy to communicate with and they texted us a few times to see if we needed anything. They even offered to mail us the bathing suits we left in the dryer. We had a great trip and my advice to you is just book this house.

Perfect place for a family Christmas get together.

Our stay at the Palms was wonderful. The home is spacious enough for 2 families where the kids enjoyed being in the bunk room. We had little ones and a pack and play and 2 high chairs were provided by the owner. Excellent communication with the owner. The home had a plumbing issue and the owner had a plumber come fix the problem the same day. The muffins and oj was a very nice welcome for our stay. The pool was clean warm and the kids had a blast swimming almost everyday. We went to the nearby Shamrock Park and also visited the Mature Center. Both were great with the kids. One of our best meals out was at Mi Pueblo close by. The atmosphere is very lively (good with the kids) and the Christmas lights were phenomenal. This was a geeat home to stay at especially if you need a bit of space and would highly recommend to everyone.

Family Thanksgiving

This house is very clean and very well stocked. We chose this house because of the double oven, and we were happy to find the kitchen had every pan/pot serving dish we needed to put together a Thanksgiving meal for eight people. The house is VERY dog friendly. The laundry room has a doggie door with access to the back yard (we had to crawl through the door to show the dog how it worked) LOL. For our trip to the beach there were beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bags and towels available and In the evenings we sat outside by the beautiful pool and played games. Checking in and out was super smooth and simple. Thank you Greg and Tracy for all your thoughtful extra touches that truly made our thanksgiving a memorable one!

Amazing home & hosts!

One of the reasons we chose this home was that it was close to friends, dog friendly and had a fenced yard, even though we ended up not bringing our pups. From the first email to a wonderful card, muffins, and orange juice when we arrived, this trip was perfect. This home has everything you need and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and extras you didn’t know you needed. The filtered drinking water was a blessing. The pool and home are spotless. It is a true home away from home. The first day we rented chairs and umbrellas on the beach, spending crazy money. After that, between the umbrella we brought and the chairs and umbrellas in the garage, we set up our own space on the beaches. From walking on Englewood beach, to sunsets at Venice beach, and even short drives to Siesta Key and Clearwater, we were so happy this home was convenient to everything. This home and the hosts are the best! I would not hesitate to rent this property again. Thanks for everything!!!!!

Best kept secret

It great house.. Extremely clean and well kept property. All that was needed was there.plus some. Great area beaches at every corner. Feels like home

We arrived at home to find a welcome card as well as fresh muffins and orange juice. How thoughtful as we were hungry. Home was super clean and so many things that you forget to bring were readily available. Some beach items in the garage - beach towels as well as a bike or two. We brought our own and biked the Legacy Trail 5 of 7 days. Loved it. Took our dog frequently to Brohard Paw Park. Second time he knew where he was. Definitely his favorite. We cooked most of the time - so if you do go food shopping, must visit Detwilers Farmers Market very close to home. Fresh veggies, fruit, seafood, meats/deli, and bakery. We had fresh groupe, salmon pinwheels and of course a steak on the grill - all from the market. Kitchen stocked with all items to make meals - spices, baggies, aluminum foil, trash bags, cleaners as well as cookware. Morning we enjoyed coffee on lanai while listening to birds singing and reading. At the end of the day, we played cards on lanai while planning out our next day. Cards and games found in tv console. At bedtime our heads found comfy king size mattress. Slept as good, maybe better than in our own bed All we can say, is this home checked all the boxes plus some. Tucker enjoyed fenced in yard and we loved not bringing his crate (3 crates in shed). Okay now, let’s just keep this a secret between the 2 of us😊. Thank you Greg and Tracy enjoyed the home and had a hard time leaving it. Greg and Tracy Thank you both for sharing your home with us

Home away from Home

One of the reasons we choose this home was that it was dog friendly and had a fenced yard. The moment we entered our furry friend felt right at home. It was super clean - you could not tell that it was pet friendly, has everything you will need for two or four legged visitors. The host was quick to respond with recommendations for activities and restaurants. We loved it so much we will definitely be back to any of their properties

Best property, excellent hosts, fabulous area!

Greg and Tracy are the most amazing and thoughtful hosts ever! Their property is amazing and perfect for singles, couples and families. We were greeted with a wonderful card, muffins and orange juice. The entire house has absolutely everything that you need for a perfect vacation. The beds and furniture are super comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook or bake. The house is fully stocked with bath towels, beach towels, beach equipment, bicycles, ice maker, filtered drinking water straight from the faucet, pool floats and laundry products! The pool heat was at the perfect temperature every single day. The pool and home are sparkling clean. The yards are beautifully landscaped and well manicured. It is a true home away from home and it’s decorated beautifully. The property has such amazing birds everywhere. They were beautiful. The neighbors were so friendly and fun. I couldn’t have spent my 50th Birthday in a better place! Greg and Tracy sent a wonderful letter upon booking explaining how everything works in the house with instructions and fantastic restaurant options. Check in and check out were a breeze! If you are questioning where you should rent……….stop questioning and rent this property! You won’t be disappointed and you will love it and want to return again and again!! Thanks Greg and Tracy for helping make my 50th Birthday so special and allowing us to create beautiful memories in your gorgeous home. We can’t wait to book with you again!

The perfect vacation house

This property has everything we want in a vacation house. The house, pool and yard are beautiful and spacious and well furnished. It feels like being at your own home, but in a resort setting. This is the second time we have stayed at The Palms and plan to stay again many more times.

The home is in a great location to beaches, restaurants, grocery and town. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the lanai. We brought all our own amenities, but the house was very well stocked, so if you forgot a soap or shampoo, they had plenty. Would definitely stay again!
