The Host, Mamisso was AMAZING!
We flew from Munich to Venice for a day and a half before traveling to Germany. The boat of this flat goes beyond the expectations. He is so very helpful. Set up water taxis for us, made dinner reservations, etc. I highly recommend!

Not a bad location but needs a little care.
This is a week appointed flat and has all the basic needs. The beds were not comfortable and one was broken, the house keeper tried to fix it but the frame was broken. The air conditioner did not work in the main part of the flat and the biggest issue was that the place was infested with mosquitoes. We used bug spray on ourselves and the sheets and used bug repellent stickers and every one still got bit multiple times. There is one shower that is tiny and then a tub with a handheld… you have to crouch down to rinse your body. The bottom of the tub was dirty and stained so you wouldn’t want to sit in it. The owner communicated well and tried to remedy things as best they could. We were only there 2 nights so not much time.

Disappointing
First off let me say it’s a great location and I love Venice. The communications was poor and unorganized for check in, the apartment was dirty, the beds were very uncomfortable and soft. We didn’t sleep well not only because of the terrible beds but we were eaten by mosquitoes and spiders as we slept. And we never opened the windows. Dozens of bites all over our bodies. The furniture was very old and worn. One of the bathrooms had a dirty tub with a broken sprayer. Worse place I’ve ever booked. Not worth the money or time. I seriously think that I deserve a partial refund.

Loved this apartment!
Perfectly situated in a quiet area away from tourist crowds, and it has a wonderful view of a canal. Open the windows at sunset and listen - just marvelous. The property is undergoing some refurbishment so there is scaffolding on the outside right now but no doubt it'll be gorgeous when the work is finished. The host could not have been more gracious and we would love to stay here again!

Großzügiges Appartement in Cannaregio
Das Appartement eignet sich für eine Unterbringung von bis zu acht Personen und ist sehr großzügig geschnitten. Küche und Bad sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Venedig benötigt. Ein paar kleine Reparaturarbeiten würden dem Appartement gut tun, aber alles in allem gibt es nichts, worüber man sich beklagen könnte. Tipp: Mückenstecker mitnehmen!

Great stay and nice host though some things may have gotten lost in translation
Great quiet location in Cannaregio though we had some delays in the check-in which I believe might have been caused due to some context lost in translation leaving us waiting for 30 minutes to check-in even though we had communicated that our train was arriving 2 hours before check-in and about 15 minutes before check-in that we were around the corner finishing drinks and would meet at the start of check-in. The listing also mentioned that laundry was available with the unit however after arrival we found out that it was paid shared laundry and not in unit which we would have to coordinate use of with the host. Overall the property was spacious and great for a stay even with some of the hiccups that led to a few things not being up to our expectations.

Not what we thought it would be
Reading the reviews (mostly pre pandemic) we thought we were going to be in an amazing, clean, and wonderful flat with a communicative host. What we found was a semi clean flat that has so much potential, but hasn’t been kept up. The floors were filthy, the toilets not well cleaned and all the kitchen items were chipped, cracked, and dirty. We didn’t care that the dishes were unmatched, but the fact they were broken and dirty made us decide to not even make coffee in the place. And the beds…they were the worst! The bed we used had a very thin mattress (3 inches at most) and you could feel every slat below you. Our fiends bed had bedding that was horribly stained/dirty. They slept with the blanket they brought for the airplane. We reached out to the host a few months before our arrival requesting some information for a water taxi service to the airport we’d purchased, and he responded back to contact him closer to the time we arrived. When we contacted him again as requested he still didn’t answer our question, but rather gave us a contact for a taxi service. We ended up canceling our initial ride because we didn’t have the info we needed, just to have his contact unable to provide the service at the last minute (not the host fault, but still left us without transport the night before our early flight). Overall, the location was nice, quite, and easy to walk to, but not a place I’d recommend until it gets cleaned up some.

Lots of space
Large apartment with a view of the canal. Grocery store near by, along with restaurants and gelato. Apartment is about a 30 minute walk to San Marco Piazza.

Amazing Home and Host!
This property was amazing. Very clean, comfortable, beautiful view of the canal Massimo was a fantastic host and went out of his way with accommodations for us and was so knowledgeable of the history of Venice.

A huge apartment in a quiet neighborhood
We had a great time at this apartment. The neighborhood is quiet, it’s overlooking a canal and just a short walk to lively shops and restaurants. The apartment is very large with lots of room to spread out.

Excellent apartment close to Rialto Bridge
We spent 3 nights in the appartement (4 adults + 3 children) and had a great time. Location is excellent, just 12 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge. Massimo was very nice and helpful, he even took us on a 90 minutes long boat trip with his own boat and reserved us a table for dinner in a nice local restaurant. Last day he helped us take our luggage to the car parking lot. From Piazzale Roma you can walk to the flat in 15-18 minutes. I would love to stay there again and would recommend this apartement to everyone.

The Property is really nice and spacious. Close to bars, convenience store and restaurants. I can recommend it to other travellers. It's very convenient for water taxi, you can go down right to the gate.

Schönes Venedig
Super geräumiges schönes Appartement, ruhig, mit etwas Garten, zuvorkommende Abwicklung. Etwas mehr zu gehen, ist aber dafür in einem Viertel Venedigs, wo auch abends noch junge Einheimische in Bars weggehen. Cool. Würde ich nochmal buchen und empfehlen.

bien mais mal équipé
L'appartement n'était pas celui réservé initialement ! Néanmoins il était clair et spacieux, bien chauffé et avec vue sur un canal, dans un quartier calme. A proximité une station de Vaporetto permet de se rendre en centre ville en 30 minutes environ. Il faut à peu près 25 minutes pour se rendre au pont du Rialto à pied. En revanche l'équipement de l'appartement est très insuffisant pour une location de vacances. L'essentiel manque: couverts, ustensiles de cuisine ou bien est défectueux (four en panne, cafetière rafistolée et dangereuse, pas de torchon, de tapis de bain ni de balai). Il fut difficile de faire à manger pour 5 personnes dans ces conditions. Même si l'accueil de Massimo est plutôt sympathique, cela ne suffit pas à compenser ces manquements. Je ne conseille pas la location dans ces conditions.

Spacieux dans quartier calme pour un super séjour
L'appartement est très spacieux dans un quartier calme. On est un peu excentré mais seulement à 10 min à pied du centre pour rejoindre les "bateaux-bus". Une supérette est très proche et c'est vraiment pratique pour faire les courses si on souhaite manger à l'appartement. La literie pourrait sans doute être améliorer dans certaines chambres mais reste correct. En tout cas, l'appartement et sa localisation nous ont permis de passer un super séjour à Venise. Merci Massimo (il fallait juste connaitre l'adresse exacte et pousser la grille pour trouver l'appartement!).

The home is very spacious but needs some renovating
We thought we were renting something very nice and modern from the pictures but it is very old with old showers and need some work. It’s in the heart of Venice where locals live so the area was perfect but I wouldn’t recommend a stay here until it’s fixed up nicely and modern.!

Enjoyed our stay in Venice
Massimo's flat fit our family of 6 very nicely as the flat was spacious and clean. Within 5 minutes is a market and several bars for convenience. Massimo was good to communicate with and I would stay at his place again.

Not communication with the hostess at all. Very poor cleaning
The hostess offered some trips and never appeared or respond when we call. The appartment need a deep cleaning. The location is to far from the main attractions. At night does not looks to save.
