We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. Right across the street from Shamrock park and the Legacy bike trail. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Cute little house in a nice location, convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The house is nicely updated inside and very comfortable. Jose was very responsive with a couple of questions we had. The outside deck needs a little TLC, but that did not affect our stay. There was an iguana on the deck almost every day, keeping an eye on us.

Graduation Celebration

Our family of four adults traveled to Florida to celebrate my nephew’s graduation. Loved the location of the house and walked in the park directly across the street every morning. We wished there was a pull out couch in living room instead of in the screened in porch and the addition of two living room chairs would be great!

Pros and Cons

Pros: Easy access upon arrival/home décor/comfortable beds/main shower. While there were stains on the cushions, sofa was comfortable, Good picture on TV. House was clean on the surface, but found items from previous guests under furniture, in cupboards & under bathroom vanities along with dirt, dust & dead bugs. Location across from park/access to trails & playground was awesome. Short drive to shopping/dining/beaches. The host was very responsive to several maintenance needs. Cons: Not a 3 bedroom. It is a 2 bedroom & a pull out sofa in screened in porch/patio. No dining table. Considering the home is supposed to sleep 6, surprised there were only 2 beach towels, 4 dinner plates and 4 bath towels. Carbon monoxide/smoke detector wasn’t working (missing battery). Deck boards rotting/uneven, so wear shoes & be careful. Putting green could be a fun activity, but it is in disrepair.Be careful about the insurance. The host filed a claim for additional cleaning fees for the sofa (it was dirty when we arrived). Also, we were travelling with a pet and the host included a claim for pet cleaning fee instead of including it up front in the rental fee.

Located across from Shamrock Park, where there’s lots of activity to sit and watch from the deck. This place is super clean and the beds are super comfy. Jose was a great host. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and comfortable home.

We booked at the last minute for Mother's Day weekend because my wife and kids had been asking me to hunt for shark teeth in Venice for about a year. The home was absolutely immaculate when we arrived, and the recent remodel is extremely tasteful. The home felt very welcoming and the host was extermely responsive. You can tell he cares about your experience and his property with the way is it presented to you. We literally liked everything about our stay here BONUS: Directly around the corner from the home (60 sec walk) was Shamrock Park, where we walked our dog, and on the path my sons' found 2 shark teeth in the sand pathway!

Florida vacation

Loved this property. The house was super clean and orderly. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were really comfortable and we loved the wrap around porch with a grill and plenty of outdoor furniture. My grandkids loved the putting green. Spent most days at the beach, Caspersen and Nokomis, both a short drive away. Also loved being across the street from Shamrock Park and Nature Center. Took a lot of walks there as well as spending time at the playground. We would definitely stay there again.

Home is well appointed, clean, and in a nice neighborhood convenient to local attractions. Big park right across street. Fun pitch/putt area in side yard. Comfortable bed. Good location walking dog. Manager is pleasant and helpful.

Great Location Next to the Legacy Trail

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this property and JL (Jose) the host was extremely responsive. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a very comfortable stay and quickly answered any questions that we had. My friend and I (two middle aged adults) stayed here very comfortably with two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. We enjoyed biking on the Legacy Trail during our stay. The trail is only yards away from the house so it is extremely convenient. The Legacy Trail was awesome and allowed for a lot of biking if desired. They have frequent bathroom and water stops available. I appreciated that the host had a special code for us to get in so I felt very safe and secure. The house was very quiet at night and we slept well. The beds are firm but both my friend and I had a good night's sleep. The kitchen has all of the basics including a wine bottle opener which came in handy for us! At night, we watched old movies and the couch was very comfortable with a huge flat screen TV in the living room. He also had Netflix and Amazon prime already loaded so we just had to log on to the Wi-Fi to have all of our favorite movies available to us. We would definitely come back again in the future. The house has everything that you need including towels. I was also able to cool it down at night as I like it cooler for sleeping. And the house was very comfortable during the day.

Clean and modern but 2 BR

This was a nice place and very responsive owner. It’s not really 3 br but there is a sofa bed in a porch area. It has vinyl walls on two sides and need to walk through the primary bedroom to get to main living area. Nice showers and baths. Not close to town or beach but nice park reserve across the street. In a quiet neighborhood. Need to stock more- I.e. shampoo/ conditioner in main bath, blankets. Comfortable beds.
