A beautiful stay in Venice
Muazzo Palace is a stunning apartment in a lovely spot to explore Venice. We were a group of 7 friends and it worked perfectly for us as a base to explore the city and relax. It's in a lovely neighbourhood that's around 10-15 minutes walk from the main sights, which suited us perfectly. Lovely local restaurants and areas to explore. The apartment itself is directly on the canal front, so it was perfect to get a water taxi from the airport and be met directly at the entrance. Jane is a fantastic host and the apartment is furnished very thoughtfully and beautifully. Highly recommended for a group of friends or family. We would definitely go back next time.

Great stay
Apartment is beautiful! Easily accommodated 8 adults in the 4 bedroom 3 bath. Several good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Really nice to have a full starter kit of food, drink, and coffee. Loved feeling like we were living as a local. Please note stairs to get to apartment so mobility is important. Jane was nice and flawlessly set up our water taxi for our exit to the train station. The 5 star rating is well deserved.

Fantastic Venetian Getaway
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. The location was perfect…quiet, on a canal, off the tourist path but nice walks to all the big sites. Jane and her family were a huge help leading up to the trip, at check in and check out, and if we had a question while we were there. The apartment itself is lovely…spacious for our family of 5 with plenty of room to spread out. We hope to return one day! Venice is magical and we would absolutely return to Palazzo Muazzo!

Amazing
This place was perfect for our family of 7 adults. Jane was super organized and met us at the watergate belonging to the apartment. This made the exit from Val Gardena Skiing so much easier with our 10plus pieces of luggage we had with us. The apartment is in a lovely quiet part of Venice. We love this area and stay here each time we visit, as you can spend the day sightseeing and come home to a life with the locals. Great restaurants within walking distance and coop around the corner was so handy. There are also some very individual shops just outside your door for a quick last minute shop! Now the apartment itself was stunning, like living in an art gallery. It has so much character and everything you need. Once again Jane was amazing and so accommodating. Thank you Jane and can’t wait to return.

Venetian getaway
This was my second time to stay in Venice. We have used VRBO in both stays and I could not think of a single reason to go any other way. We found the location of the Muazzo residence to be ideal for leisurely strolls to every attraction without being in the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas. The property was just as described with beautiful, larger than life art filling the walls of every room in the house. The beds were comfortable and private and the baths were beautifully appointed. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but it was addressed by the property manager immediately and professionally with limited interruption to our stay. I would recommend the Muazzo palace to anyone who wants to feel like a real Venetian in their visit.

Large, comfortable, beautiful property
Hosts arranged transportation for us from the airport and were already waiting for us with groceries. Explained the check in/check out process clearly. The property is large, has a big kitchen, nice rooms and bathrooms, beautiful decorations and is air conditioned. The location is quiet, safe and well positioned to walk to main attractions and restaurants.

Quiet and Convenient Castello Apartment
Apartment was a unique mix of old world charm and modern-day amenities. It was spacious & roomy for 4 couples. AC was a plus. Location on canal was beautiful! Lovely narrow balcony overlooking the canal was enjoyed by all. The apartment was an easy walk to a piazza with many restaurants and little markets, yet still in a quiet neighborhood. San Marco was within walking distance. Jane was very helpful setting up a private water taxi to pick us up from the train station and she met us at the apartment garage on the canal to bring us up to the apartment. She also arranged a private early morning water taxi to the airport. Public transportation is just a few blocks, easily assessable for transportation to the train station and airport. 4 sets of keys were appreciated since the 4 couples often set out on their own. It was a real treat to find a basket full of goodies when we first arrived. The apartment was perfect for our needs.

Great Location
Very spacious and clean property in a fantastic location. Perfect walking distance to anywhere you want to go; perfectly distances between the San Marco square and the grand canal. The property itself is very spacious, unlike most in Venice and the kitchen was perfect - had everything we needed and the best part was all the breakfast foods it was stocked with to be able to eat before we left for the day. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Absolutely stunning home and location!!
Had the pleasure of meeting Michael, the hosts son who provided us with a lot of information about Venice. This made our stay so much more enjoyable. The accommodations are absolutely stunning. Wonderful Venice Stay
We are a family of 6 and this property and management were wonderful. The pictures give an accurate account of this very well appointed and clean property. Plentiful windows, artwork and airy space made it a relaxing space to rest and think. It is in a quiet part of Venice yet 5-15 minutes walk from all the major tourist spots. The view was from excellent as the balcony overlooks a canal. There are good restaurants, bars, fruit stand, florist and gelato within a block or two of the property. Public or private transportation is easily accessible. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Jane was very responsive and helpful with our needs. The gift of breads and wine were much appreciated as was her booking a water taxi for our early departure on our last day. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Venice Spot
The host, Jane was an excellent communicator throughout our booking experience. They met us at the boat docked and walked us to the home. There were many snacks, drinks and breakfast items in the home. The AC and beds worked well. Very close to walk to to everything and quiet and dark at night. Highly, highly recommend!

Excellent Property in Ideal Location
We are a family of 6 adults and stayed 3 nights in this lovely apartment. The location is ideal, as you are close to restaurants and cafes, but far enough away from the heavy crowds that you can enjoy a quiet stroll most times of the day. There is a COOP grocery store a short walk away where you can purchase most anything you need. The Square is only a 15 min walk from the apartment. Jane was wonderful to work with, super responsive and helpful to every question and need. She made our stay very pleasant and even helped me to find some non touristy things to do while staying in Venice (check out Row Venice - we all enjoyed!). Overall an outstanding experience.

This place is just as advertised
Being able to walk out to the balcony and be on a canal is awesome. The apartment is gorgeous. The kitchen is a dream and Jane hooks you up with goodies that make the 1st morning go so smoothly! The things that aren't in the listing. It is on the 2nd floor with no elevator and those steps are a doozy! The water taxi from the train station is 100 EU. The beds are hard as ROCKS. Seriously, one person slept on a couch. The couch is low and hard to sit on since it is so deep.

50th Anniversary
We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Jane our host was very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect. Handy to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood is quiet and only a short walk to all points of interest, The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. Amazing stay in Venice
Jane was wonderful and super helpful from the start - great communicator throughout the process, from the time of booking until after the check-out. The apartment is just gorgeous and is located in a charming part of town - walkable to everything but far enough off the main tourist traps to feel secluded and private. The apartment is also very functional - all the bedrooms are spaced off the main living room / hall axis and feel very private, which was great for the two families with kids. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with anything one would possibly need. Again, shout out to the great host who made our stay seamless and memorable. Thank you, Jane.

Weekend in Venice
This is property is as described online, it is a really beautiful old venetian apartment which is full of character and has a nice feel about it. The Muazzo Palace provides a relaxing and very comfortable environment to return to when you have been exploring the streets of Venice, we loved this apartment and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. We loved the quieter location, although its very easy to get to a coffee shop ( 3-5 minute walk nearby) or 10- 15 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge, the Grand Canal and San Marco Square. The view of the canal from the balcony was great and it was lovely to be able to watch the boats and gondoliers' pass by. The beds and bed linen were of very good quality and were very comfortable and the the marble bathrooms were great with good showers and we made use of the sauna. The kitchen is very well equipped and Jane and Michael her son were very kind to provide some breakfast provisions and prosecco for when we arrived, which was very much appreciated. Jane and Michael were excellent hosts and were very helpful with all the queries that we had about Venice. We would definitely recommend getting a water taxi from the airport to the Muazzo Palace, it was just an amazing experience and Jane and Michael were very helpful with offering support with directions and which canal Ponte to use. We had an amazing weekend with really amazing weather for the end of October. We can't speak highly enough of this apartment, it excelled our expectations. Thank you

AMAZING!!
I can not say enough about our whole experience in Venice mainly due to this apartment. Jane and her husband were easy to reach and very helpful with every question and concern we had. The fridge was stocked with a few staples and a bottle of Prosecco along with a well stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook 2 incredible meals and a delicious brunch on our one gloomy morning. The neighborhood had a co-op for all our grocery needs, a great pizza place and many cafes and restaurants very close by. All the main attractions were within a few minutes walking distance. Every day we took a different route and once we explored the hustle and bustle of the beautiful city we headed back to our peaceful neighborhood to enjoy our balcony overlooking our quite canal. It was a dream vacation. We intend to return as soon as we can. Thank you Jane!

Extraordinary detail in Elegant, Art filled, Luxary Canal Flat
This 3 bedroom Venice flat with high end appliances, Stunning original art and immaculate marble bathrooms exceeded expectations. We have stayed in highend VRBO and Airbnb flats throughout Europe and Africa and this particular property tops our list for sheer excellence. True to pictures, close to important landmarks but above all, beautiful. My highest praise.

Exceptional Experience
This property is in a great, more quiet location in Venice, yet has access to water taxis and St. Marks square in 10 minutes. The flat is well kept, she stocked the refrigerator, and the art on walls and construction of the building is amazing. The only drawback was the air conditioning did not work. Jane tried to get it repaired for us, but things just don't move that quickly. She brought in fans and also refunded us a night. I would have taken the air of the refund, but that's how it goes. Jane is reliable an a wealth of knowledge about Venice as well. I would highly recommend this property.

Wow!
Our family of 6 had the privilege of staying at this amazing property for 3 nights. Everything is just as pictured, or better! The host stocked our fridge with eggs, yogurt, milk and other snacks which was a wonderful surprise. When the a/c wasn’t cooling, we contacted the host and she supplied fans for every bedroom. We had a remarkable stay! Also, everything you’ll want to see is easy walking distance from this place! Book now, you wont regret it!

Great Palazzo in Venice
Palazzo Muazzo is a great place to stay in Venice and we recommend it. We are a family of 5 (mom/dad, 3 daughters ages 10-15) who stayed for 3 days in April 2022. The Palazzo is as it looks in the listing. It is clean, neat, and attractive. It had everything we needed for our stay. It is large, but not grand. The bathrooms were clean and the Turkish bath in the master bathroom was fantastic. The building is great, at the end of a narrow street/walkway. The palazzo is two flights of stairs up from the ground - so heavy luggage might be a concern for some people. We managed just fine. No worries. The building is clean, quiet and safe. We heard neighbors as they came and went during the day but had no interactions with them. The check-in process was good. The property manager was away so her son, Michael, checked us in. Michael is real nice and helpful but was not as knowledgable as Jane. The location is in a quieter part of Venice, which was a good thing. The immediate neighborhood of the palazzo was great with everything we needed (grocer, ATM, restaurants and small shops). It is safe. The canal on which the palazzo is located is quiet which is a good thing. After seeing other canals you realize you could be stuck on a busy and loud canal. The palazzo is a bit of a walk from the main attractions of Venice yet this proved a great thing as each day we would take a different route and saw many great neighborhoods and made discoveries. Don't let the distance bother you in any way unless you have mobility issues or really want to be in crowded, busy section of Venice.

The perfect holiday visit
We spent a week at this amazing property in Castelo, Venice. Our group consisted of our family, three adult children and their significant others. The apartment itself combines classic bones one would expect in Venice, artfully combined with modern touches. The artwork and furnishings added warmth to this beautiful setting. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook and all the bedrooms are equally comfortable. The location is wonderful; a ten minute walk to most of the city and easy to get to the public water taxis. I highly recommend the property; Jane was extremely responsive and made us feel extremely welcome.

Venice for NYE
My extended family (8 this trip) has rented properties all over the US and Europe and this home was, by far, the most lovely place we’ve stayed. It was sparkly clean, spacious, wonderfully decorated with a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings and all beds were comfortable. All bathrooms were deluxe, but that master bath - holy cow - it was on another level entirely. There are not enough superlatives to accurately describe the kitchen. Suffice it to say we were inspired to stay in and cook almost every meal, while subsidizing with fresh baked goods from the bakery less than a block away. As others have mentioned, many of the basics, including coffee and spices, were stocked which made cooking a viable option. Jane considerately supplied fresh basics - eggs, juice, fruit, milk, yogurt, butter, bread - which was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Grocery stores are nearby and we used the shopping cart more than once. Jane also helped us reserve a private taxi for the fireworks show on New Years Eve. What a magical experience!!! We meant for this to be our “one” visit to Venice, so we pulled out all the stops. But this home is calling and we find ourselves planning a return trip. Thank you, Jane, for providing such a comfortable home! We WILL be in touch 😀

Beautiful, clean, completely ready to enjoy
We drove to Venice with our 3 kids and took a water taxi to the private entrance to the apt, and were met by Jane with a smile and assistance with our luggage. Check In was a breeze and we soon found that the stocked kitchen and immaculate apartment were ready to enjoy. The pictures of the apartment don’t do it justice. The Turkish shower is amazing, the beds comfortable- one of the best Home Away places we’ve ever stayed. The neighborhood is perfect for getting around and close to lots of great restaurants. We also did Rowing Lessons with Row Venice and it was one of our kids favorite parts! Stay here- you won’t regret it!

Venice with Friends
This property was perfect for our couples trip to Venice. The charm and artistic appointments along with comfortable beds and first class amenities in this home provided us with an enjoyable stay. Jane was amazing in answering our questions leading up to our trip, graciously had a welcome basket upon arrival with a few sundries and immediately responded and solved a minor problem when I simply mentioned a repair that might be made prior to additional guests. Loved staying here.

At Home in a Mini Palazzo!
Muazzo is an elegant home with spacious bedrooms, updated marble bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen and a large, comfortable living room and dining room that is perfect for communal life. We felt as if we were staying in a friend’s home. The owner responded immediately to all questions and requests. We will definitely rent this apartment again!
