We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Stefano responded quickly to all of our questions; he also arranged water taxi to take us to the train station when we departed. This was our second time staying; it’s a favorite!

Disappointing

We arrived close to where we were to be staying by water taxi and were met by our host Stefano. He was very cordial and helped us get to the apartment. Upon entering the apartment we were met with a very narrow flight of 20 or more steps going straight up to the first floor. It wasn't possible for my wife or myself to get our luggage up those steps so we were forced to leave them in the foyer. The furniture was very worn and very close to the floor. The beds were much firmer than we were used to, but the apartment was clean. We weren't given any wash cloths for some reason. Stefano was very nice but I wish I had known about the steps and the condition of the furniture. This is not a place any person over 6 foot tall or over 55 years old would be comfortable.

Really is a jewel! Book it now!

Great accommodation, and so close to everything. Our host was amazing and gave us all the information we could possibly need. Great place to stay if you have a group. Would definitely book again if we were back in Venice.

Great Stay

Location was excellent in Venice Close to everything in central Venice including some great restaurant recommendations and grocery stores 10 - 15 min easy walk to Rialto Bridge Vaporetto stop Ca Dor is a 2 min walk away Communication with Stefano was 10 star! Provided concise directions to access the VRBO and Easy access to suite Exactly as Advertised Would stay there again in a heartbeat we had a group of 6 and plenty of room 2 of 3 bedrooms had wnsuite and other had a nice larger bathroom across the hall highly recommend!

New dryer!

Eight of us, all adults, had a great time being close but not too close to all the sights and Grand Canal. Yes it had steep steps. Watch your head and use the hand rail. Washer and dryers worked, great water pressure, huge dining table for coffee and wine.

This apartment was amazing. Stefano helped us with anything we needed and send detailed videos on how to work everything in the home. Location was great. Would absolutely recommend staying here

Loved It

The communication was awesome. The location was the best. You are in the middle of the area but right off the Main Street so you can get some sleep. There is plenty of space, and yes there are stairs; but it is Venice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very cool place in a great location

The apartment is so cute and well located and the host is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The stairs getting in are steep and plentiful but a great way to walk off the pasta limoncellos - as long as you haven’t had to many!

This property is amazing, we stayed here with 4 adults and 2 children, the whole apartment had air-conditioning, very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was spot on. The host is awesome and the instructions were spot on. 👌

Perfect Location

Perfectly located near everything. The residence was lovely. Very spacious. There was 6 of us with plenty of room. Easy Check in and out. Only thing i would address is air conditioning in the loft. It was always very warm but the temperatures outside were brutally hot. Venice was lovely and so was this host! I would stay again. Thank you!

Great place

6 of us (family and friends) spent 2 weeks in Italy which included 2 nights at this lovely place in Venice. It suited our needs well and was close to walk to all the sights. Stefano was excellent at communicating about how to get to the place and things to do..He was very friendly and easy to communicate with The stairs were a little tough for.my 78 yr old mother in law but she.managed..Overall a good experience

Absolute Jewel!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family of seven. Very well appointed and the location was amazing. Stefano is an excellent host and made everything super easy to navigate, from arrival from the airport, local tips and recommendations to a smooth checkout. Amazing trip!

Perfect place to stay in Venice

Great location and easy to get to. Close to the Rialto bridge and many resturants. The best Gelato in Venice just steps away. I would definitely stay here again. The apartment was a great layout for our 4adults 2kids. Everyone had space and having 3 bathrooms was awesome. The check in could not have been easier with all the helpful videos to help you get familiar with the apartment. If i could give 10 stars I would.

Perfect retreat to rest from adventures

We loved our stay at the Home of the Goose. The location is perfect and close enough to be near shopping and restaurants but also in a quiet alley where you can rest and recouperate after a day of adventures. Check in was easy and communication with the host smooth. We got there early and were able to leave our luggage in a safe, locked area while we explored the town. Apartment was very clean and furnished with all that we needed. We loved the sound system. Beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was there were no instructions on how to use the washer/dryer. We couldn't figure out the dryer so ended up hanging our clothes out to dry. We would recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Venice.
