Amazing Experience
What an experience! If you are looking for a change from busy all inclusive resorts this is a great option. The unit is gorgeous. Spacious with a back yard with a pool overlooking the ocean. It is in a gated community which adds to the exclusiveness of the experience. The beach which is in walking distance is gorgeous with warm water and good size waves. The property management led by Meaghan took care of all of our request. All around great experience for us. Pura Lavida!

Gorgeous ocean front view
We loved Casa Loca and the owners were very helpful in arrangements for activities for us to do. We used their grocery delivery service and that was super helpful. They responded immediately when one of the AC s went out. We enjoyed two massages at the house, horseback riding on the beach, surf lessons and waterfalls with Zipline tours. We definitely will come back. Costa Rica is beautiful and this house is exceptional

Amazing get away set in a small surf town!
Casa Loca has everything you need and easily accommodated our family of 7! If you need assistance, with where to shop for groceries, restaurants, excursions, the house, horseback riding, etc., Jarrod the property manager is super responsive and has the solution! The house is spacious, clean, and just a short walk away from Playa Negra. (swimming and surfing) as well as restaurants, and cafe's. You are definitely not in the "City" and should plan your shopping if dining in. This is a great location and house to check out and unwind at! I highly recommend staying here!

Playa Negra's Finest !
I can't say enough about this property and their management! Jarrod the property manager was always available when needed and extended himself beyond expectation. This was our first trip to CR and definitely not our last. We enjoyed every last minute of the trip and their accommodations. This house has the best sunsets, It makes every night special! Jarrod referred us a chef to cook for us on one of the nights of our stay, this chef and his wife cooked us the most amazing meal! The chefs name was Garrett, if you want an amazing food experience, don't hesitate to get this set up on your stay, you will not be disappointed. All of the local restaurants in the area are good so do some exploring . Il Rustico, Villa Deevena, Corazon surf cafe, Playa negra hotel stood out, but there are definitely more..... This was a very memorable experience and we look forward to booking another trip with them. Pura Vita Costa Rica !! You are beautiful......

Beautiful View- Big house
The Casa Loca house was an amazingly relaxing vacation. The house was nice. We loved the pool! Great views of the ocean and a nice spacious layout. A few things to mention... We didn't get our email for the check-in instructions until the morning of. I believe this was more of a lack of communication between the hosts, but still a little nerve-wracking. After that, the communication with the host wasn't a problem. Another thing that wasn't ideal was the construction that was going on at the house next to us. They started at 7am and went until sundown. Understandable that it's a newer, growing area, but we didn't love all the noise when trying to relax outside. We were set up with COVID tests the night before we left, which was great... but the testers were 2.5 hours later than we were told they would be there. This was quite annoying! It was our last night in the area and we didn't want to wait around. Just an FYI, all the roads in that area are dirt roads. Make sure you have a decent car to drive around them on! All things being said, we still had a wonderful time!

Beautiful home, quiet location
Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Casa Loca! The house was clean and well stocked, the location was AMAZING, and the Jarrod and Meaghan were responsive to requests and very helpful in setting up activities. The driver they arranged for us for one of our activities, Jeffery, was fantastic. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond and made our day trip that much more enjoyable. The neighborhood was also great, we went for walks, walked into restaurants in town, and had the pleasure of seeing (wild?) horses in the yard a couple of times. We hope to return in the future!

Best vacation ever!
There were 6 of us that came from Minnesota. Our third trip to Costa Rica, and our best trip yet! The house was absolutely perfect! We loved the pool and spent a good share of time just enjoying that! It truly is just a short walk to Playa Negra hotel beach- which is perfect! Saw whales two if the mornings! Surf lessons were great and had massages at the house...fabulous!! Jarrod and Meagan were so helpful in helping us and giving wonderful suggestions! We are definitely coming back!!

Loving Los Pargos
Casa Loca was perfect for 10 of us during our recent holiday stay. The house itself is rustic (but so is Los Pargos and that's what gives it so much of its charm) and showing some signs of its age, but, that said, it was comfortable, had everything we needed, the pool was fantastic, the views amazing and sunsets beyond description. What truly made our stay exceptional however, was the hospitality provided by Meaghan and Jarrod. They were incredible to work with. The reservation, check-in, pre-stocked groceries, check-out and all communication in between were professional and easily managed. Then there were intangibles... First, Jarrod accommodated our unexpected early arrival by providing us a place to store our bags, change into bathing suits and arranging transportation for us to Playa Avellana. Later that day when the house was ready, he took time out of his busy schedule to come personally pick us up and take us back to Casa Loca where our bags were waiting for us. If that were not enough, later that week for our sons 14th birthday, Meaghan brought over two cakes (the tres leches was amazing) with birthday candles (it made his day as he was not expecting anything given our somewhat remote location). Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed Casa Loca, would absolutely go back to Los Pargos and, if you rent any home managed by Jarrod and Meaghan, you are in good hands!

Perfect holiday
This house is perfect for a large family or multiple families traveling to the beach. In addition to the 4 bedrooms there is a TV room and office that both have extra sleeping spaces. In terms of the beach, its amazing, very short walk to Playa Negra and then walking north, you discover additional nice sandy coves which are ideal for younger children. We loved it.
