Spacious cottage was very comfortable for our stay. Centrally ducted heat pump was very nice. Large wrap around deck and long dock were great for enjoying the bit of sun we got this week. Be prepared to drive slow getting to the cottage, the private road is very rough.

Easily able to host family and/or friends in this cozy, super comfortable winterized cottage. Lots of amenities and room for sitting around the wood stove or the long dining room table. Super supplied kitchen for cooking elaborate meals or simple lunches.

We had such an amazing time at this place. Definitely a little piece of paradise nestled in the woods right on the Falls Lake. Far exceeded our expectations and the owner David is awesome. So responsive and made sure before checking in the we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. The home is turn-key, so all you really need to bring is yourselves, clothing and any food items you want. Other than that it is fully stocked. We are definitely looking forward to coming back in the summertime to take advantage of the beautiful lake that the home sits directly on. This is a must do if you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax by yourself or with the family.

David was an amazing host! He called me the morning we were set to check in and walked me through the whole cottage. He was also easy to contact throughout our stay (we have an issue with the alarm system), and gave great recommendations for local outings. We went to Bent Ridge due to his recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed the food (and his 15% discount)! Even though the weather was rather gloomy we made the most of it and had a great time swimming, canoeing and drinking our morning coffees on the dock. Highly recommend.

Lovely spot. Everything we needed…except sun ☀️. Got an afternoon on the dock & a swim in the warm waters of Falls Lake. Canasta,Scrabble & reading and chatting w good friends made a fine retreat. Recommend to others….A

We spent 2 weeks at the cottage. Week 1 my wife and I were still in "work from home" mode - wifi was excellent and allowed both of us to work online (email, etc.) with no issues, week 2 was a full vacation; kayaks and canoe were used quite often and the docks are great to swim off of as well. The cottage was very well equipped and quite comfortable. Our two week stay went by in a blur and we will be looking to book there again in the future.

Great spot for an adults getaway or a weekend away with family. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you will need. Nice and cozy when you take advantage of the wood stove.

We came to Nova Scotia from Ontario to pick up a puppy I had reserved. I looked for a place, near the breeder, to spend a few days, to let the puppy get used to us before the long drive home. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The home is beautiful, and David was a very helpful, accommodating host. He even picked up wood and wine for us, before our arrival, since we couldn't shop because of Covid. David's home could not possibly be a disappointment.

Our family felt at home in this beautiful lake house! We would all walk out to the end of the dock each morning to watch the sun rise and the mist roll over the lake with our morning coffees in hand, and we would end our fun filled days next to the fire pit with s’mores in hand to watch the sunset Truly an amazing spot.... If only the pictures could do it justice! We hope to make this a family tradition! Thank you David for being so accommodating and gracious!

Truly, our week at Falls Lake couldn’t have been any better. What a gorgeous house, complete with everything you need, for a relaxing Winter retreat. We’re already hoping to come back same time next year.

We enjoyed great family time at this beautiful cottage! The kids spent most of their time down by the lake swimming or paddling in various boats. We enjoyed family meals on the large deck and camp fires in the fire pit at night. The open concept main floor makes it a perfect spot when entertaining larger families. We'll definitely be back.

Great spot with something that could appeal to and entertain all in a family. Very well maintained and exceptionally well-appointed, with access to a beautiful lake. The owner was also very attentive, without being intrusive.
