Wonderfully perfect. This home is in an absolutely wonderful location. Easy access to anywhere in Varenna. The home itself has all the comforts of home. It was very clean and comfortable. Ettore was highly communicative and available. The I highly recommend it.

Perfect Varenna Stay

Lovely top floor apartment is centrally located in Varenna, just a short distance from the main piazza and has everything provided for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning welcome. The property owner is friendly, has excellent communication skills, is very knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent recommendations. You may even meet his charming father. I highly recommend!

Best stay at a reasonable price!

This is our second time staying here. We love the location, as it sits atop a wine bar. It is also close to some of the best food in Varenna. The host has always been nice, and he is easy to contact. We love this place and highly recommend it.

Cozy and Charming

We loved our stay in Varrena. The apartment was very relaxing and peaceful. We slept soundly in the upstairs loft. Location excellent for exploring the beautiful town. Great communication via text for recommendations and assistance. They provided suggestions for parking in a garage not too far away. We cannot wait to return.

Amazing

This place is perfect! Right in the heart of Varenna and walking distance to everything. If you are in Italy, you already know that there are lots of stairs. This apartment is on the 3rd floor so pack light. It is a walk from the train station so be ready to haul your gear but worth every step! Enjoy!

Wonderful Stay in Varenna!

We spent two days in Varenna and the location was just perfect! The apartment was quite clean and comfortable for our family of four. Both the waterfront and S. Giorgio Piazza were readily accessible. Even in the offseason, there were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Ettore was a gracious host and easy to communicate with. Ettore’s father was a great help to us and gave us rides to/from the train station! We highly recommend!!

It was a great experience staying at this location, its close to everything. The only drawback is it's not quite till about 10pm since there are so many restaurants and Wine bars downstairs.

We are in Italy!!

Ettore’s dad picked us up in the next town because we couldn’t get the train doors to open! So nice of him. Personal escort to the apartment and how to use everything. Lovely town. Ettore was awesome to communicate with us all along through What’s App! Everything was super clean! There is a 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Also, a winding staircase to get to the bedroom upstairs. If you have mobility issues it might be hard to navigate, especially bathroom trips at night. We would definitely stay here again! Ettore took us back to the train station, so kind!! We loved the place!!

Brilliant apartment in Downtown Varenna

Loved everything about this loft apartment in Varenna. Our communication with Ettore was excellent and he was extremely helpful with everything before and during our stay. The apartment is perfectly located in Varenna and has everything one requires. The upstairs bed and bedroom layout was fantastic with the most comfortable pillows we have experienced in Europe. The sofa bed was also very comfortable. It was a joy to stay in such a cosy and comfortable apartment. We will definitely return so as to experience this town in the Summer months when everything is open. The upside to visiting in Winter was the peace and serenity without crowds.

Very cute and quaint with a perfect location!

The photos of this apartment are exactly what you get. It was very clean and in the heart of downtown Varenna. Ettore communicated very well, and he went above and beyond and had his father pick us up at the train station to acquaint us with the area and show us around the apartment. Right below the apartment, there is a wine bar, and a very excellent restaurant, Il Cavatappi. There are only a few tables, so make reservations well in advance. They do have outside tables that aren’t reserved, so you will have to show up early for those and enjoy a glass of wine while you wait. There is another excellent restaurant a few hundred feet down the pathway, Osteria Quattro Pass. They have a pumpkin Gnocci dish that is to die for!!! The location of this apartment is perfect!!! Varenna is a quiet and quaint place, especially in the mornings and evenings. It was such a pleasure to stay here! Would definitely come again.

Excellent Location!

Charming property in central location in Varenna. Ettore gave good instructions and recommended a driver since we flew into Milan Malpensa. The apartment was perfect size for my family of 3. Lots of restaurants close. Would definitely recommend! Recommendations- Since near restaurants, I would recommend ear plugs if you are light sleeper and want to sleep with open windows. Only suggestion

Heart of Varenna

Everything was wonderful! Ettore met me at the train station, drove me to the apartment, and showed me how everything worked! The air conditioning was awesome, some very hot days! A fantastic location, a way to feel you are living like an Italian for a few days. Nice change from hotels!

Fantastic Varenna apartment!

This apartment was everything we could have hoped for when staying in Varenna. The location is absolutely wonderful, you are so close to everything. Ettore was so helpful and communicative leading up to and throughout the entire stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Varenna

Heaven - you will not regret staying here

The apartment is so beautiful and the host so incredibly kind. Varenna was by far our favorite place on our trip to Europe in part due to this amazing place. The location is perfect and you have a view of the lake from the balcony. This is probably the best rental I have stayed at and I cannot wait to return ❤️
