The house is so delightful that this is our 5th stay! It has all the amenities you need to be comfortable if you want to stay in. But close enough to downtown that it’s only a 20 minute drive. It allows us convenience of going down to Richmond, to Lynn Canyon, to the West End. We always come with a large group of people and everyone universally agrees they love coming here.

Great place for a large family

Everything was beautiful. The fire pit in the outdoor area did not seem usable. Our only real problem was that there were two Stanley Cup Finals between Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. The television did not have any national networks or sport channels of any kind. We had to go to a sports bar to watch.

Great place for a lot of people

The house was just it was advertised. It was clean with lots of room to move about. Each of our family members had their own room and bathroom on the upper floor which was a bonus. The kitchen area has a great space for gathering. Oversized frig was perfect for lots of food and we liked having 2 dishwashers for the large crowd. th neighborhood is beautiful and very inviting for our morning walks.

Large Family vacation

Our family with 3 generations stayed for a week at this lovely home. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were 19 of us and the space with the bedrooms was wonderful. My suggestion would be to have more single beds in the bedrooms along with the King beds because if small children want to sleep in the room with the parents there is no other bed. We blew up an air mattress in the master bedroom and also used the futon so the small children could be in the bedroom with the parents. The teens wanted to be together in one room but with one bed in most of the rooms only, we had to buy another air mattress. Yes, there is sleeping space for the number of people it says the house will hold but the bedroom configurations was difficult for our large group. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house is not far from grocery stores and anything else you would like to find. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. The kitchen was well stocked and the inside and outside areas were perfect. We loved the fact that the yard was walled in by beautiful hedges. The kids ran around outside and there was no worry of anyone running into the street. The hot tub was also a fun thing for everyone. There is a great outside eating area right off the main kitchen/dining/living room area so the kids ate outside most of the time. A basketball court outside by the kitchen was also a big hit. You definitely will have a great time if you decide to book this place for your family.

Just what we needed!

The Hudson House was chosen for our family (3 generations) to gather in one location for our granddaughter’s wedding. The first criteria was wheelchair accessibility - from front entrance to main floor to backyard. Second criteria was room for everyone. The lower level had space and privacy for the youngest generation, the top floor with 4 bedrooms accommodated the second generation and the main floor was great for seniors and wheelchair… or anyone. There was ample space for everyone to gather in the family area and kitchen with formal dining just steps around the corner. Extra supplies were provided in storage areas. The backyard was well used from basketball to hot tub to outdoor meals. It was a great area to host a large family gathering. We pre-ordered our groceries which were delivered within 2 hours of our arrival - very convenient. Location was great as was the access to amenities. The response time from the host was good and always helpful. One suggestion - check the carpeting in the master bedroom. Thank you Hudson House for meeting our needs and helping us create fond memories.

Family birthday bash

Hudson House was perfectly suited to our needs… clean and spacious, and well stocked with paper goods needed. The hosts were very accommodating about an early check in which helped us immensely. Hot tub was ready for use and enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the patio during down time. A great home base from which to both collect family from the airport, and to explore Vancouver! Thank you!!

This property is wonderful! Very well stocked, exactly as described and the owners were great to respond with. We didn't have any issues at all and in fact the owners made sure we had everything we needed! The hut tub was marvellous ... everything was really great. 5 STAR HOST. Thank you for a great stay and look forward to returning again.
