This Garden Oasis property was the perfect home away from home for visiting family in North Vancouver. The garden is such a peaceful oasis, perfect for just relaxing with a cup of coffee and listening to the birds. This quiet, clean, private unit is inviting, spacious, comfortable, self contained with all the amenities of home and was well stocked with coffee, tea and spices for self catering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back here when visiting family again later this year. Last but not least, our host Frances was warm, friendly, welcoming and attentive from the start and we could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Thank you Frances and Terence.

Very comfortable space for my husband and I in a central location to easily access activities in North and even Mainland Vancouver. The hosts were very thoughtful and friendly, and their woodsy yard was magical. Would love to stay there again!

Excellent place to stay. Hosts were amazing and the directions to the suite were very clear. Suite was very clean with everything you need. There were instructions inside for your stay and notes for resturants and things to do in the area. 10/10 will stay again!

If you are going to Vancouver you must stay here. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to all activities in and around Vancouver. It is surrounded by an amazing garden. The suite is perfect for staying overnight or an extended stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay! All amenities were exactly as described. Check-in details were clear and easy to follow which was extremely helpful as we arrived late at night due to flight delays. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook for coffee, breakfast and meals during our stay. The paved walkway to the suite was beautiful - like a taste of forest in the city with tall cedars and lush landscaping. Frances and Terence were gracious hosts, very accommodating. They gave us helpful tips for navigating the North Vancouver area, transportation and activities. We enjoyed the central location for all activities we were interested in - Deep Cove, Shipyards, Lynn Canyon, and Stanley Park via Seabus using both rental car and city transport as needed.

Frances is a great host and cares very much about your stay. You can see that when you step into the rental suite.Communication was quick, getting in was a breeze, the suite was as described and it was extremely clean. The bed was very hard for our old bones and our car ended up with tree sap from parking where we did on the street. Small minor experiences that probably wouldn’t keep us from staying again but did take away from being perfect. The location was excellent for us to easily get where we wanted and the suite had everything we would possibly need. Frances and Terrance are wonderful hosts and we would definitely look to stay again if in the area.

Beautiful garden suite

This was a gorgeous property for my stay in North Van. Lonsdale Ave. was only a ten-minute walk away, and the neighborhood felt safe and secluded. The listing itself is a basement suite beneath the main house; it was clean, quiet, and private, with plenty of amenities and functioning appliances, and Frances was very cordial. I took my breakfast in the garden every morning - it really did feel like a garden oasis! Nothing but praise for this location; I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a pleasant stay in Vancouver. This lovely space was perfect for us as we visited our son. Frances and Terence our host greeted us as we arrived to there beautiful home with gardens. Parking was easy in street parking . Stone walkway not for handicapped visitor. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hosts were very welcoming, kind and informative! They had great suggestions on places to visit. Their garden is absolutely beautiful to be around and the place itself was quite spacious and clean. There were a lot of nice additions like a coffee machine/pots and pans/teas/spices etc. The area around was super quiet and a great location (easily accessible to tourist attractions). I had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Great Location in North Van

Our stay was short and sweet! The listing was just as expected. Although, slightly hidden once you know where it is you can’t miss it. Frances was great and welcoming on arrival and the space was stocked to the brim with essentials. We will definitely keep it in mind in the future.

Perfect Getaway - Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing time during our recent stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into making this home both comfortable and welcoming. The space was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of local attractions nearby, yet it offered the peace and quiet we were hoping for. The hosts were also fantastic—very responsive and attentive to any questions we had, ensuring our stay was seamless. We truly felt at home and could easily see ourselves returning for another stay in the future. Overall, this was a perfect getaway for both of us, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free vacation spot. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Very Cozy!!

The place was very nice! VRBO commercials are a bit misleading as the hosts were onsite. That being said. We never saw or heard anyone so it was as though they weren't there. When we met the host on arrival she was great! We would recommend the place to anyone without reservation. 5 stars in our book!!

Perfect in every way

This place is perfect. No other way to describe it! Frances has made a cozy, comfortable haven for visitors to Vancouver. The pictures are exactly like the property, and what a beautiful property it is! Green, lush and flowering everywhere you look. Even on a rainy day it is lovely! The apartment is spacious, the furniture is so comfortable, the decor is really special and Frances has thought of every detail her guests might need, from tape and scissors on the desk, to a vegetable peeler and even a picnic cooler with plates, cups and utensils. Frances is so considerate, she even has pillow options in the closet should you not like the ones on the comfy queen bed! This was an ideal spot for us to relax and to use as a jumping off point for our trip to Vancouver. Frances was very responsive, welcoming and gracious! I highly recommend this terrific place and sincerely hope to be back there sometime in the future!
