Our family enjoyed our stay very much! Property is as described and we had no issues! Close to everything we wanted to do! The beds were super cozy and we were not bothered by the road noise.

Easy check in, truly perfect experience.The house is warm & welcoming. The perfect accommodation for our family gathering. We filled the house with love for two days.The kitchen has everything we needed to make a big family breakfast. Enough room to gather we truly loved our time here.Very comfy beds & very clean.THANK YOU HOST for having this place available. Highly recommend.

Our stay was comfortable and the home was cute. The quality of the experience did not meet our expectations with communication, hospitality or condition of the home. Some things could be improved for the guest experience to feel well hosted, but overall we enjoyed being in a house over a hotel for our weekend and appreciated the space which accommodated 5 of us well.

This house was amazing. Everything we needed we had. It's centrally located from all the things we had planned. Some say it's loud due to traffic but we live in an area where we have fighter jets training over our house so this was nothing. We will be traveling and staying here again.

Check in process was seamless. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and they are good sized. I will have to say the king size bed in the master was extremely comfortable! The very big downside of this house is that is next to a very busy street. I’m a light sleeper so I could barely sleep the first night… However, we moved the fan from one of the other rooms into the master bedroom and created white noise and we were able to sleep quite well after that. The kitchen is very dated… We were very disappointed with the pots and pans, and lack of them in the kitchen. I communicated this to the owner and she dropped off a new set of pans the next day! Thank you, Julie… The back porch is basically unusable. It would be nice to have a barbecue available as well. If you need basics like tinfoil or anything like that, you should bring it. This house is Centrally located to get to I-5 and 205 very easily… I will say this for the owner, she was very responsive and for the cost, and the amount of people that could stay here, this is a good deal.

This home is located in a great location...only 20 minutes from PDX, and lots of stores and restaurants close by. It is nicely decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only drawback is it sits right next to a busy road, so the road traffic is loud at night, especially in the master bedroom.

Nice but noisy

Over all nice stay. We had 5 adults and stayed 5 nights. Communication was great. House was clean on the inside and nicely decorated. House lacked maintenance inside and out. Kitchen could be stocked better, lacked kitchen towels, wash cloths and the pots and pans were too small for 5 adults. We needed to purchase toilet paper and paper towels because there was not enough left out as back up. Finally, the house backs up to a main road and traffic was very loud even with ear plugs.

This house has the potential to be very nice however the backyard is small and on a very very busy road!! There was only one garbage bag left and whatever toilet paper was left on the roll, nothing more. The backyard canopy was completely covered in mold. The countertops are held on with packing tape. The garbages were completely full and apparently our responsibility to take to the corner but we got in super late that night and was unaware until the next morning after the garbage guy came. Use of the garage was very nice. There was no barbecue at the house. We also found a dirty pan in the oven and a very small amount of pots and pans and place where. Also, there were no dish towels in the kitchen.

Disappointing stay — place is in declineI wish I’d paid attention to the most recent reviews. Older ones are positive, but the condition of this place has clearly gone downhill.We arrived the night before trash pickup around 11pm and were told to take the overflowing garbage bins of the previous guests’ garbage out to the street. That should have been handled when the place was cleaned between guests, since our check-in wasn’t until 4pm. The house had several issues: a detached cabinet panel, cabinet door falling off its hinges, peeling kitchen counter held down with packing tape, a ton of broken/missing blinds (with a note not to touch the curtains), and a crumbling fireplace. Cookware was so scratched it was unusable (nonstick pots and pans) and we had to buy our own pan, and utensils were very worn out.The house is just off a busy street, and the windows (especially in the master) did nothing to block traffic noise — we had to use earplugs to sleep.Despite all that, the rules were oddly strict — warnings about staining towels, signs in the bathrooms — which felt out of place and off-putting given the condition of everything.There wasn’t enough toilet paper for our group, and though we were encouraged to tip the cleaner, we found hair from past guests in the bathrooms.Overall, this property is not being properly maintained, even though guests are still expected to do extra work and follow strict rules. Check the most recent reviews — they tell the real story.

Disappointing

A major disappointment. After seeing all the fantastic pictures and the glowing reviews of this property I was really excited to stay there. However, we had a lot of issues and would not recommend this property. We could not open the front door when we arrived. Owner gave us the wrong code. The house had not been cleaned since the previous guests had checked out. It was a mess. Owner sent a cleaning crew, who cleaned around us while we sat on the couch! But the house overall was grimy and not clean, even after they left. We found blood stains on the bedsheets, and the bedding smelled musty. The carpets are filthy and the furniture is dirty, especially the couch and cushions. The kitchen is dirty and badly maintained, with a mish-mash of utensils, pans and crockery. The house is located right off a busy main road and the master bedroom is literally 20 feet from the road, so the noise was bad. We could only sleep with earplugs every night and my kids complained about it a lot. There were cigarette butts on the floor outside the front door and a pile of yard debris just by the driveway. There was a vacuum cleaner in the master bedroom that looks like it hadn't been emptied since it was new. The waste bag was solid so it didn't work any more. Overall very disappointing and we would not stay there again. I'm sure some folks would say we're being picky, but basic cleanliness is important.

Nice home

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect for our visit as we have family members nearby. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Some of the bedrooms could use a few more lamps or lights and the kitchen could use another large skillet or two and some hand drying/dish drying towels and dish cloths, but we managed with a couple purchases and with what was available.

Nice and comfy homedsd

We enjoyed our stay in this well maintained house with thoughtful touches and comfy beds. Checking in and out was very smooth and easy. We would recommend a few more cooking utensils, eating utensils, glasses, and pots/pans in the kitchen, but other than that everything was great!

family reunion

The house was more than adequate for all that we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked for our needs. I would give this home 5 stars except for 2 things.....If you are mobility challenged as I am, the primary bedroom is located upstairs and the stairs are steep, and this home is located on a major road and you will get road noise into the home and early in the morning.

Very clean property

I selected this home due to its proximity to my daughter's and son's houses, as we were all attending my daughter's wedding. I must say, it turned out to be an ideal choice for our stay. With comfortable beds for everyone and an ample number of bathrooms, it truly felt like a home away from home. The convenience of the location, being so close to my daughter's place, made commuting a breeze, which was especially helpful during the wedding preparations. Julia, the host, was incredibly responsive and attentive, promptly addressing all my inquiries and ensuring a smooth booking experience. I will definitely keep this home in mind for future bookings, should the need arise. Overall, our stay here contributed positively to our memorable experience during my daughter's wedding weekend.

Beautiful and Spacious Home

For the six of us who stayed for 3 nights, this home had everything you need!! Including being able to park one car in the garage. All bedrooms were spacious and the 3 bathrooms really met the need for girls getting ready. For the kitchen you had most appliances and plenty of dishes. Very clean. If we return back to the area, I would defiantly rent again!! And the communication with owner was very timely! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely wonderful VRBO rental. Only problem was trying to figure out how the lockbox worked. Because there are so many different lockboxes, it would be helpful to include instructions. Lack of clarity re what day of the week for garbage pickup. Finally, no wash cloths. But still a place I would HIGHLY recommend.
