This was my second time staying at this property, and unfortunately my experience this time was a little lacking.
Here are the positives: price, comfortable bed, good location especially if you plan to do a lot on campus or in the surrounding neighborhoods, and the windows do really well blocking our any noise from outside. The hotel itself is also pretty quiet, except that you do hear the elevator bell every time it arrives on the floor. That could have just been because of the location of my room.
The negatives: this room was not in such great shape. There were stains all over the carpet, and on the headboard of the bed. One of the bath towels also had several large, bright blue stains on it. The most upsetting, though, were the large stains on one side of the bed sheets and finding several hairs on one of the pillows. At this point, I was already in my pjs and did not want to get dressed again to go to the front desk and ask them to give me a new room or send another sheet, so I just put a (hopefully) clean bath towel over the stains and slept on the other side of the bed. I can understand that maybe a few small spots get on a towel or maybe a hair gets stuck from being in the wash or in the dryer, but the large bed stains were very unsettling and I would think that housekeeping would have noticed them and chosen to use cleaner sheets and towels.
The streaming tv is also a bit frustrating to use, but you’re in town to watch tv so it wasn’t that big a deal.
