The host was so welcoming. She was so pleasant and checked to see if I needed anything over the course of my trip. Her response time to queries was really quick. Accommodation was lovely and cozy and clean. They were all kinds of snacks and beverages for us to use. The bathroom was stocked well. Close to shopping and the train. Lovely quiet neighbourhood . I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such an easy and pleasant stay.

Great place to stay. Proactive communication about the check-in process, and smooth arrival. The host made us feel very welcome. As if in a spa with the slippers, snacks and drinks. Used the laundry facility, easy process. Clean place and quiet neighbourhood.

We stai at the apartment for 4 nights to participate to the WebSummit at the Vancouver Convention Center. Well connected through the Expo line and 20 minutes walking from the Metro, supermarket and mall.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The location was perfect! Our delightful host had supplied welcoming snacks & beverages. (When we were "challenged" by an unfamiliar coffee maker, she replied immediately & explained what we had to do.) This unit was bright & immaculate with a very comfortable bed/bedding. The train to the Waterfront was just few blocks away. After a busy day downtown & seeing everything, it was so lovely to come "home" to this quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this unit & our host to anyone coming to this area.

Great Stay in Vancouver

Property was perfect for us as close to Royal Oak Skytrain station and much cheaper than staying in city centre which was 20 mins away by the skytrain. There was a local shopping centre less than 15 mins walk away and laundry facilities were great.

Perfection

I decided to drive up from my home near Seattle to spend a week solo traveling in and around Vancouver. This couldn't have been a more perfect apartment for me. It's a sunlight basement apartment on the back side of a beautiful home with complete privacy and a separate entrance. I had everything I could possibly need including a very comfortable place to stay with a complete kitchen so I didn't have to eat all of my meals out. I was able to park my car in front of the house, walk the 8 minutes to the Metro and get to anywhere I wanted in the greater Vancouver area. I had a wonderful time. Franzi was a gracious host. I arrived to beverages and snacks already in the kitchen. Since I didn't need any assistance while I was there I didn't see anybody, which was absolutely perfect, but I knew they were there in case I did need anything. I finally met my wonderful host on the last day and she was very kind and gracious. Price and a place couldn't have been better. As a solo female traveler I will point out how safe I felt in the neighborhood and the home. 100% recommendation. A couple would be very comfortable in this apartment as well.

The owner was very friendly, we had a great time! There was also a good stock of supplies in the place, including snacks, cutlery, dishes, etc, which made the stay very comfortable. Would stay here again!

Burnaby is a-ok!

The place was beautifully clean, an no funny smells. Farther from town than we anticipated, farther from the stores and restaurants too. Just took adjusting our daily trips out to account for the distance. Very safe neighborhood and we greatly appreciate that. Do note, there are about 8 outside stairs to negotiate so if you have heavy bags, that’s a consideration too.
