"This was an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. "Our family had the best time at Don’s lake house. The grounds are amazing with lakefront access. The fire pit and gazebo were big hits. Don was super communicative and answered any questions we had. There was plenty of room for our whole family and we can’t to return. "

"Stayed over Labor Day weekend for Dromfest, a small local music festival. House was cute, spotlessly clean, and check in was easy. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would expect. Walking distance down the hill to Main Street. We will be back!"

"The house was perfect for us. Location was good for us also. The house was clean and neat. It was priced right. There were a few little quirks. I’m sure all will be taken care of after I share them with the host. We were comfortable in the family room. Our beds were comfortable and the kitchen worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this house and stay again. One thing I do not recommend it for children. Adults only. "

"Beautiful house and amazing location. In the bedrooms, it really feels like you are in a tree house. The house is secluded but it's within 10min of New Paltz, Gardiner, and Minnewaska. Perfect to unplug for a long weekend. "

My father had a medical issue beyond the refund window that stopped us from making the original reservation date, Owner allowed us to move our date out a couple of weeks. Everything was clean, the kitchen and dishes were clean. The bathroom was brand new. All of the beds were comfy and clean. I slept on the couch bed in the third room, it was firm and comfortable.
