Great Location

The condo was very clean, quiet and well appointed. Excellent location for attending events, shopping or dining in Vail Village and literally a 2 minute walk to the Ford Gardens and Amphitheater.

Excellent location near Ford Garden and Amphitheater, gondola, shopping, restaurants

Very comfortable studio, for 2 adults and a dog, on the garden level. Well equipped kitchen. Small condo - very efficient use of space. We highly recommended this property for hikers, bikers, skiers, outdoor enthusiast. Thank you to Rene, this is a lovely property.

Close to lifts but not ski in/out. Layout was awkward.

We enjoyed the convenience of the close location and having a full sized kitchen. But the lift was not operational during our stay, so you had to either walk to the Gondola or walk the the kiddie lift, ski down to the Gondola and then wait again. So just inconvenient to get on the mountain. We felt like the location justified the price, but when you couldn't get directly on the mountain, it didn't feel worth it. The layout of the unit was tighter than expected. There was really no comfortable seating to watch TV or a movie other than laying in the bed. It was just a little too tight once you got your ski gear inside. The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs some attention. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably look elsewhere for the price. But then again Vail really isn't inexpensive to begin with.

Not a true ski in/ski out property

This property was not a true ski-in/ski-out, although the listing stated it was ski-in/ski-out. The property is also not in Vail Village. This property is about a 15-minute walk to Vail Village and access to Gondola One when walking with ski equipment and in ski boots. The nearest lift was not operational. Although this life would have been somewhat closer, it required walking across the street and around a builidng with several flights of stairs to access it. The walkways were icy and treacherous in ski boots or snow boots. Although the property was well-equipped and tidy, it was small, even for two people. There was a futon, a bed, and a few chairs at the counter for seating; however, the furniture was not set up for a relaxing stay. On the positive side, the communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the early check-in.

Cozy mountain abode with lift access!

We loved our little studio apartment. It was perfect for an unfussy couple. We had literally everything we needed for a romantic Vail ski trip. The owner was super accommodating, allowing us to check in early to enjoy the powder after a big storm! The free parking was a major bonus (60 per night elsewhere). The only reason I docked points on cleanliness is that the pillows were very old and unpleasant. The dishwasher might need upgrading as well as some of the cutlery and dishes were dirty. I would stay here again a thousand times over! Loved our stay!

Perfect ski trip with son!

Great place in the middle of Vail's busy season - parking included, very close (easily walkable) to the main gondola, kitchen (which helps save money and time - especially in the morning, or when the restaurants you want are booked for dinner). Very communicative host. Will be at the top of our list when we return!

Cozy retreat

This condo was perfect for my teenage son and I. The proximity to the Golden lift was perfect- less than a two minute walk. The condo had all the amenities we were looking for. And if you have never visited Vail, having parking included is a real savings.

Just what we needed

My husband and I wanted a place to stay for a couple days within walking distance of Vail Village, Ford Park and Betty Ford Alpine Gardens that also accommodated our dog. We planned to be out and about most of the time so we didn't need a lot of space and this property was just right. Great location. The process from beginning to end - booking to checkout - was friendly, timely and helpful.

Great location

Really convenient location. We came up for a concert at the Ford Amphitheater, and it was a short walk from the room. The Village is also walking distance. If I had to criticize anything I would focus on the bathroom. The door is very hard to open and close. I think it needs to be filed down to close easier. The bath tub is porcelain and a little slippery when getting in and out of the shower. And the toilet seat was broken. There are 2 fasteners and one of them appears to be broken, which made the toilet seat move when you sat down. Again this is nitpicking and really we loved the host and the room and would stay there again. But small changes can make a big difference.
