Awesome location and panoramic view!
Can’t beat the proximity to the lifts and the panoramic view. There are things we wished were different, like firmer mattresses, wider bench for the dining table, a soap dish for the master. But, the kitchen was the best outfitted vrbo I’ve had and the kitchen and the bathrooms have been updated which was nice. We also appreciated the fireplace heater thing in the main room. We would choose this property again, no hesitation.

Lovely Condo
The condo was perfect for our family. It's located right next to Gondola 1, hiking trails, restaurants, bike rentals and the bus stop. The condo was in an older building but the condo itself was updated and beautiful. Thank you.

lovely condo and perfect location
This condo is great - spacious and feels homey. Everything is organized and stocked with nice things. The parking is super convenient (although difficult to find the building in the dark), especially the gate. The owner provides detailed instructions but the map is probably the most helpful for finding the parking. Our only issue was that the master bedroom bed is really high and shorter people and kids may struggle to get in.

Great two bedroom set up with wrap around views of Lionshead and the Vail slopes, perfect location!
Well laid out, cozy living room and well equipped kitchen - each bedroom has its own bathroom which is a big plus.

Best place to stay at Lion's Head
The location can't be beat. Walk less than a football field to grocery store. Gondola right outside the parking lot! Epic.

LC201 Stay in January 2023
Overall, very clean, quiet and convenient to ski lifts. It was a bit tricky to find the entrance gate at night. I suggest describing the gate location as being accessible from the bus stop loop.

Best location period
This location at the foot of the gondola in Lionshead made it extremely convenient to get to the slopes with minimal walking in ski boots and hassle free of getting on bus. The location also made it easy to hop on the in-line bus to vail village to explore that area for entertainment dining and shopping. The location also aided in pickup of rides at welcome center for transportation to from airport as well as other excursions. The checkin process was super easy with reminder emails providing detailed info. The views were wonderful, the beds comfortable and plenty of cookware to handle all of our cooking needs . Would definitely return to this same rental in my return visit to Vail.

Great Location
Location is steps to the gondola and also the market for food to make in the unit. Very comfy beds and couch. The only thing I could say to improve the location would be to provide nonstick pans so that you don't need to spend too much of your vacation scrubbing pans clean and are able to actually make overeasy eggs. Also, if planning to fill a hydration pack, expect the water to turn hot coming out of the fridge even if it says room temperature. Even with these two issues, I would definitely stay at this location again when visiting Vail because of how great the location and layout of the unit is. It is also steps to the bus stop that takes you into Vail Village for more options to restaurants for dinner.

Love this place, already coming back in August
A terrific place in an unreal location! If you like Vail (and who doesn't) this is place is a can't miss. Great pool in a hidden spot, perfect for summer getaways.

100% location
We had very high hopes for our stay and they were exceeded! We quickly discovered as we walked into the condo that we had scored one of the absolute best locations in all of Lionshead. The room was bright and comfortable and the views were amazing. At the end of the day we skied right up to the ski locker/condo. In the evening all the restaurant/shop attractions of Lionshead were just steps away. We also rented amazing equipment at Double Diamond, which was located downstairs in our building. Simply the best!

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely condo. Beds were clean and super comfortable. Kitchen was modern and well equipped. Only complaint is the tired furniture in the living room. Micro fiber couch shiny it's so worn and chair worn out. Also I was under the impression that this condo was across from the gondola. It's a bit of a walk.

Perfect Location! True ski-in ski-out!
The location was perfect! We were able to ski in for lunch without hassle then resume skiing without worrying about hauling equipment around. The unit was cozy and comfortable. We will stay here again!

Perfect location
We loved staying at this home. The only thing to complain about is that our door lock code was changed a few days into our stay. We were not notified this was going to happen and luckily my husband just happen to be coming back from the mountain and saw the man at the door changing it and was given the new code when he asked what the man was doing. Had he had not seen him, we would have been locked out. The condo was perfect for our little family of three and the large windows gave us a beautiful view. Being near the bus stop was ideal as we had to ride over to Vail Village daily for skiing. Thank you, Quannah Boswell Tulsa, OK

We will be back
The property was perfect! Great location and very cozy inside. Feels like you are staying in an treehouse. You have views of three sides. I’ve always booked directly through the owner and this one was through Berkshire Hathaway. I had read some not so good reviews on their responsiveness or lack there of. I did experience that myself. I just suggest being prepared to stay on top of them.

Main property is a bit dated but this unit has been updated with a nice rustic design. Beautiful views of the mountain and tree tops. Ideally located next to the lifts, lots of restaurants and the bus line if you want to head to Vail Village.

Very nice place
This is a very nice condo. We stayed for a week in December for a ski vacation. You cannot beat the location. Walk everywhere: skiing, dining, shopping. If we return for another ski trip, we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing spot!
We had a great time staying at this house. It felt like we were staying in a really nice treehouse, its surrounded on 3 sides by forest trees and has a beautiful view of the stream from the living room. Amazing location and great amenities. Really nice place, highly recommend!

Fantastic winter getaway
We go to Vail at least once a year and have stayed at several locations from hotels to VRBO houses. This condo was just perfect for the 4 of us (my husband, 4 year old, 2 year old and myself). The location is literally just 50 yards from the Lionshead ski lift - right in the middle of Lionshead shops and restaurants. The space is small but efficient and fit the 4 of us perfectly. We relaxed on the oversized couch in the living area in the morning and at the end of the day, used the kitchen to cook a few nights, and the beds were super comfy. There was even room for our pack play in the master. The only negative I can think of is that the sheets were a little rough. If you’re considering - I’d book! Really, we can’t wait to return.

Awesome Property
We come to Vail every summer for soccer tournaments. This condo was great. Perfect size for my family. All updated and in great condition. The location was AWESOME. Right in Lionshead close to the Lionshead Cir shuttle stop. Would recommend and will stay again if available next year.

Cozy, well-decorated unit with awesome location
Loved staying here - comfy beds, kitchen outfitted very nicely, windows in 3 directions - allowing for slope views, and great morning sun. Couple of issues: could not get the toaster to work, and the secondary bath toilet would occasionally not flush. Although the unit sleeps 8 in beds, we could not park a second car here. Therefore we got a $50 parking ticket for parking in the 1 undesignated spot in the garage.

Beautful getaway
This was one of the nicest properties we have been to in Vail. The place was attractively decorated and had a well-equipped kitchen which is not often the case with many other VRBOs. The location was ideal as the unit was steps away from the gondola and overlooked the creek path. Another plus was the the gas barbecue grill on the patio. Although small in square footage, it is perfect for a small family, especially since one bedroom is equipped with 4 bunk beds. We will choose to stay in this particular unit again in the future!

The property is located in an excellent location, but that is where the praise stops. The room, while well appointed, was dirty from the carpet to the windows to the bedding. There were stains on the bedspreads and the extra blankets were not laundered. Yes, the sheets were clean. The pool area had not been cleaned in a while as the tables and chairs were covered with layers of dirt and dust. Never once were they cleaned during our stay from July 29 to August 3, 2016. When we cleaned the lounge chairs with wet towels, they turned filthy black. The deck area is cracked and posed an unsightly trip hazard. The hallways were musty and dreary. There was NEVER a person on duty to voice our concerns to and you only receive a recording when calling the phone number provided for the property. Lovely location, terribly managed property. Annette

We were disappointed and a bit surprised to read your review of this property. Most guests really enjoy this property. We do realize that the building itself and the pool area is a bit older. The common areas of the building have all been redone as has the interior of the property. We will have housekeeping go over everything thoroughly to make sure it is 100% clean.

Great Lionshead Condo
The unit was as advertised---very spacious, clean and well appointed. Views to the Born Free slope out one window and into Lionshead out another window. Parking was convenient underneath. The 2 Lionshead lifts were steps away from the ski locker by the garage. Shops and restaurants (Bart & Yeti's and Garfinkel's our favorite) are right there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Lionshead.
