Location Location Location
This was a wonderful place, not perfect in a few ways but overall I think it was just excellent. Imagine a walk of about one minute to the local diner, the best one in the area for breakfast, and the same to get to the gondola. Communication with the host was excellent. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again.

Great location with great views but can use some TLC.
We stayed in Lift House Lodge in Vail and overall it was ok. The location is great and the views of the slopes were a plus. We appreciated the king sized bed and the mattress was comfortable. The unit could use some maintenance though. The sliding door does not lock. The toilet seat needs to be adjusted/tightened (I have seen other complaints about this on Trip Advisor for some time). The lighting is way too dark. The light over the dining table, while interesting, does not put off enough light. The shower head is pitiful; many holes are plugged and not emitting water. The shower curtain liner needs to be replaced (pink mold). The kitchen faucet leaks at the base of the handle when you turn on the water. No kitchen towels or paper towels provided.

We rented this property over NYE and we were so excited about the trip and accommodations. We arrived to a old and not well cared for condo. Humidifier didn’t work, toilet seat almost fell off, towel rod hanging off wall, balcony door broken, bed sheets cheap and scratchy, pillows sucked. The worst part was the second bed because supposedly this place sleeps 4. The futon/couch was something I would find on the street in the trash. It in no way is acceptable as a bed. Uneven cushions and the crease is right at your back. You can’t sleep the other way as it’s too short. If you have a 4-6 year old you’re fine on the sofa. Towel are tiny, old and barely white. The price point is great but overall I would give this condo a C- for price/accommodations. And you have to pay $50 a day to park on property.

Location great. Steps to gondola for wedding mountaintop. Shopping and dining options excellent. Music in the plaza during the day was very nice, and location very quiet at night. Issues: the elevator was out of service for my entire stay. My room was on the 4th floor. In addition, the freezer and ice tray were crusted over and I could not use either. Sliding door to balcony stuck. Also had to pay additional for parking. I am a life-long skier and I get the idea of location to the lifts, basic accommodation with the focus to ski, crash in the evenings, and then repeat. But visiting in August for a formal wedding and finding the elevator out of service was a big issue. The staff suggested that the elevator was out for a significant amount of time and had no belief that it would be "fixed anytime soon." It made the stay very unpleasant. Rental was via VRBO and I question if the owner knew of the elevator issue. If you like the location, recommend you call first to see if the elevator works.

The stay was ok..
This VROB was just ok… We did not have the best night sleep while there. The bed was just ok and the pillows need to be replaced. The location was nice super close to all the shopping and restaurants in Lionshead Village. That was probably our favorite part of the stay being able to walk around or people watch from the balcony. The location can be tricky to find but the ladies at the front desk could not have been nicer.

All the essentials with great location
We had a great time staying at the property during the summer! We had great communication with and we’re able to get an early check in as well. Great proxemics to this part of the vail village as well! Would come back again!

Great location & view!
Location is on the village Square. 100 yard walk to the lift. View is of the gondola, slopes & village with a tree providing privacy. Studio set up was really well designed, seeming more like a one bedroom. Would absolutely return!

Generally good, however, we had a bum remote control for the tv ... despite calling host & property handyman nothing was done ... disappointing since tv won't work if remote is not functioning.

Perfect for a skiing couple - amazing location in Lionshead!
Perfect size for a couple going skiing. The location is excellent - easy walk to the Lionshead gondola with ski boots on. The apartment was clean & warm and the bed was very comfortable. 4 people would have been cramped but doable - the sofa bed is not nearly as comfortable as the regular bed. Can’t wait to book this place again!

The owner was fantastic as was the property. Can’t beat the amazing view from the balcony. Everything you could want or need is within walking distance. Place is beautiful and we will absolutely be back again.

The location was terrific and the place was clean and mostly as advertised. The pullout sleeper (to make it a 4 person) was very uncomfortable / inadequate. The checkout time of 10 am is too early - never had that before. Overall, a good rental with those caveats.

Great little appartment at the heart of Lionshead at Vail resort
This apartment was well furnished and comfortable. Location is unbeatable. A few feet from rentals, lifts, restaurants, bars, groceries - everything you need for a ski vacation in Vail. We would definitely recommend!!

Hassle Free!
Everything was exactly how it was advertised. Vail is special and this place adds to the experience. The bed is very comfortable and the place is stocked with what you need for your stay! Very convenient in location to the lift!

Excellent location, tiny apartment
The good: Location on this property is excellent. Across from the ice skating rink in Lionshead, a few steps away from the lift or Gondola. With the Vail Ski Tech store under the building, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc, this location was ideal The not so good: the apartment is TINY. Aprox. 400sf, we had a king bed that was separated by cubbies (your clothes storage) from the sofa bed and small kitchenette. This is a better fit for 2 people than a family of 4. After 2 days of skiing, things inside the apartment can get VERY tight. Apartment was renovated somewhat, bathroom seems original. Overall, an OK place on an excellent location, but beware if your family consists of more than 2, maybe 3.

Quick Weekend
The room was adequate. Unfortunately the outside of the building needs maintenance. I nearly fell down the stairs because the some of the brickstairs were broken. The hallway had boxes lined up outside the doors. The room was nice and overlooked the village. Beautiful view. Room could use a fan. It was pretty hot.

Nice little unit in the center of Vail. Comfy, well stocked, convenient. Don't expect luxury and it's definitely better suited fir 2 people, but it is absolutrly perfect as a base to ski, hike or adventure outside.

Lift House is a 2 minute walk to the lifts! No steps either. Great Lionshead location!
Great location - unit is small - no more than two people - bed in unit 415 is comfy - kitchen chairs not so much - nice view and balcony - walking distance restaurants inckude French Deli, ChopHouse and Bert & Yetis - rent direct from LiftHouse or VRBO - about same price.

Overall a good property with a great location. The few things I didn’t like were not really important to me. Give me a great bed and a great location and I’m happy. 👍🏻

1. This property is very clean 2. This property is very small 3. This property will sleep 4, but is better suited for 2 4. If you plan to use the fold out, bring blankets or sleeping bags (only 1 small blanket is offered) 5. This property has an amazing location! True ski in/out and very close to the in-town shuttle and great access to Lionshead

Location, location, location
Great property- great owner - legit ski in ski out. So many places say that and then you have a half mile hike with gear. No this one - just a few steps and you have your choice of lift or chair. Nice clean place with functional kitchenette to make breakfast burritos before hitting the slopes. Bed is uber comfortable. Great tv and balcony. End unit top floor so quite. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Spring break
The unit was clean, and very accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The only complaint we had, was that my wife doesn’t ski, and she was wanting a clear view of the mountain. There is a large tree directly in front of the balcony of the unit that blocks that view. Otherwise, you can’t beat the location.

Great place to stay while in Vail
Great cozy studio with prime prime prime location in Vail. Not super fancy or anything, but in an amazing location literally 1 minute walk to Lionshead Gondola & easy building access, plus little kitchenette area. Would be happy to stay here again when just looking for a cozy spot to stay on a ski trip to Vail. Thanks for the stay!

Great Location - Perfect Size
The photos of the condo don't quite to it justice. The location is perfect, in the heart of everything in Lionshead. The Condo perfectly accommodated two people but can easily fit four. Would definitely stay there again!

Price is ONLY reason to stay here.
The is just a large hotel room with kitchenette. The bed is too small and shakes when someone moves. Tried the sleeper sofa - what a joke.

I am sorry but I think your review is the joke! The bed is a Queen size (as advertised) and there is no such a thing as a "small" Queen size bed. They are all the same size... You should read the description of what you are renting better next time.

Great location to explore all Vail has to offer
Great place to serve as your home base while visiting Vail. I visited in August 2017 for a wedding and we had a bunch of activities in and around Vail planned, so we really just needed a no-frills place to sleep. Location can't be beat; free summer parking is right across the street and everything in Vail is within a quick walk.

Perfect condo for a ski weekend, extremely convenient!
This is a very basic condo that has everything you could need for a ski trip. Comfortable bed, couch for relaxing, coffee maker and small fridge to make your pre-ski mornings quicker and more affordable. The condo has great views and is literally a one minute walk to food, ski rentals, and the gondola. Our host sent us a huge amount of helpful info in advance, and check in/out was seamless. Great and affordable option in Vail!
