Our group of eight had an amazing time here and we all wish we could have spent another few days to fully exploit the facilities and surrounds. We were two family groups including two boys and two girls around age 14. The girls were ecstatic in their room resplendent in soft white linen and all the fancy 5-star hotel touches, and the boys got good value out of the pool table, organising a competition which helped 'meld' the boys and girls together who hadn't met previously. I know it will be an experience we all talk about for years to come, and I'm certain we'll return at some stage, and no doubt our friends will come too! It was especially nice to discover the 'charitable' aspect of the property and that while we're taking our summer break our $$ are helping others. The visiting wildlife was the best evening entertainment with approx 11 kangaroos and wallabies making a daily appearance ... also a giant goanna, possums and red/green parrot. We enjoyed feeding them with the pellets provided and we were happy to clean out their outside water trough and fill it up with fresh water ... then watch them lap it up during such hot weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were magnificent, abundantly stocked, and the kitchen was fully functional with every pot, pan and utensil imaginable. The pizza oven was great. Did I mention the view??? Oh my Lord, the view was incredible ... we spent a good amount of time in awe of the view ... the storm on NYE made it all the more exciting with mother nature putting on an incredible lightning display. I could go on and on about what a great time we had. I have no doubt whatsoever ANY couple, group, or family would have an amazing time here - whether you're an action fan or you just want to get away from it all. Truly a property which has something for everyone. Well done to Janine and the Destiny Haven team for managing such an exquisite place - you clearly go over and above to make it a luxury, but welcoming home away from home.
