"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Very relaxing stay! It was nice having two bathrooms, too. Note that they are both upstairs in the cottage. Not a problem for us, though. Place was cozy and comfortable. The pub next door closes early so patrons and any noise coming from there ceases early. Bed was comfy, too. "

"Talk about a 'Tardis' house! This place has an uninspiring frontage to it. It looks normal, nothing spectacular. However, on arriving at the front door, the quality starts to become obvious. "It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater."
