The apartment is cosy and easily suits a family with two children as there are three bedrooms ensuring plenty of privacy. The bathroom is modern as the entire apartment and the kitchen is fully equipped. Parking on the street is no problem. Fully recommend to stay here."

"Wir, eine Familie mit einem 8-jährigen Sohn, waren für ein langes Wochenende bei Lothar zu Gast. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Wohnung ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche interessante Ziele, wie z.B. das Gondwana und die daneben befindliche Grube, die einzig zugängliche Edelsteinmine und das Edelsteinmuseum, zahlreiche Burgen und Burgruinen und und und... Insgesamt hatten wir einen fabelhaften Aufenthalt und können die Wohnung inklusive Umgebung...

Der Kuckuck hieß uns willkommen, jeden Tag kam ein Storch vorbei, Rehe zeigten sich neben dem Haus, Wildschweine kreuzten unseren Weg, und unsere direkten Nachbarn waren Rinder mit ihren 12 Kälbern, die besonders abends ihrem Bewegungsdrang freien Lauf ließen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Die Ferienwohnung in ihrer sehr schönen, ruhigen Lage am Rande des kleinen Ortes mit der unglaublichen Fernsicht über die herrliche Landschaft war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Zudem sind die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. "We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"Abgesehen von der Sauberkeit (gammeliges Geschirr in der Spülmaschine, keine Tabs verfügbar) war alles in Ordnung. Das Abholen der Schlüssel in einem Hotel in anderem Stadtteil hätte auch durch präzise Planung der Ankuftszeit vermieden werden können. Die Lage am Burbacher Bahnhof mit vielen Zug- und Busverbindungen ist gut. Das Viertel bietet aber weder Einkaufs- noch Ausgehmöglichkeiten. Dafür ist die Wohnung geräumig und einigermaßen günstig."

"Sehr nette und schön eingerichtete Wohnung im Erdgeschoss mit Garten und Terrasse. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Wohnviertel ohne sehenswerte Ausblicke. Jedoch ist die Lage ideal für Ausflüge in die Gegend umher; Saarbrücken, die Volklinger Hütte, Saarschleife usw. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, und die Wohnung hat alles, das man brauchen wird. Auch wurden mehr als genügend Verbrauchgüter, wie Spültabletten, Kafeepods usw bereitgestellt. Allesamt eine gute Erfahrung."

"Lovely hotel, beautiful park behind it was lovely for walking in even though the weather was not good. Hotel is beautiful, the interior is stunning. Our room (we had a suite) was lovely. Food was good in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a casino next door and a water park next to that. Our only gripe was the pillows on the beds. You had one large and one small one each and they were way too soft. "
