"We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind. "Amazing apartment with epic, all aspect views. Clean and well maintained and the lady managing the cleaning was lovely. Only negative was it was it was very draughty in the bedroom (but it was extremely windy)."

Only received a refund when we complained and pointed out that had I come and just bought a coffee I would have been eligible for free parking as I would have been considered to be a customer. But not considered to be a customer when staying overnight. "

"Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

"The hotel room we stayed in could do with refurbishment and some items in hall way old picture and junk could do with removing as it’s not a good look Room no 3 above boiler which woke us at 06.15 we did manage to get back to sleep though however went to use shower no hot water ! the hot/cold dial just went around I would suggest this has been broken for some time Room rather cramped and not worth paying extra for a sea view as cars parked and view restricted The plus were excellent breakfast...

"Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Helpful staff, good breakfast, very conveniently situated just across the road from the beach and prom. Lovely room with superb view. Close to facilities, theatre and convenient for buses to Exeter and Sidmouth. Recommend"
