"The room was really clean and equipped with everything you need. The room I stayed at was a bit drak with a little window, but that was the only one available and the room rate was reasonable for that. The check in was a mess, though. Hotels.com doesn't share the reservation number (?) in the confirmation details (it is different from the itinerary number) and I struggle for a while to retrieve it as I could connect with the actual agent only after going through all the frustrating AI process...

"Our stay wasn't bad, I only have two complaints: It was a bit chilly in the basement And the volume on the tv didn't turn up, i had to read the subtitles because i couldn't hear it. The host was very easy to get ahold of, he responded right away when i messaged him. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, bus stop very close."

"We came to Halifax for a little get away. So the kids could swim and go fishing, and that is exactly what they did. The water front was perfect, kayaks available (2, with life jackets), paddle boat (needs new steering but it worked ok). The closed in sun room (needs better ventilation, and maybe a propane fire table to complete the setting). The add in itself was a bit mis leading. "This clean neat and comfortable space provided a place to sleep but not much room to relax except on the bed. The tiny kitchen area allowed us to cook some meals. The shower was large enough to accommodate my tall husband. The air conditioner is noisy and has the duct going up the outside wall on the room. Not having a window was a bit of an adjustment. It was a place to rest our heads. "
