"The grounds are stunning but the hotel itself is looking a bit tatty. We were given an accessible room, which didn’t seem that accessible to me! The plug sockets by the bed are not normal uk plugs. So you can’t plug a charger in (for me, I couldn’t plug my breathing machine in) The tv was on the wall, but had plastic covers over the wires which just looks messy. "El hotel es muy bonito y se tiene una estancia muy agradable, sobre todo en el restaurante a la hora de cenar o desayunar. La habitación que nos dieron es amplia, pero sin aire acondicionado. Solo tenía un ventilador en una mesa donde no había enchufe. Además se accede a todo el hotel por escalera, y a nuestra habitación por un tramo final muy empinado y muy estrecho. "The dinner and breakfast were lovely, the bacon was crispy, just as requested. Staff were polite and helpful. Car park access from the road was challenging due to being blocked by queuing traffic. On site car parking was limited but we managed. The spaces are not sufficiently wide for your modern Bentley, but we have not yet placed our order, so it was not a problem."

"Bit of room to improve here, to charge the rate paid (£118). The floors weren’t clean, and the decorating very tired - lots of messy paint, rusty radiator, and mucky old window in the shower room. I will highlight the very comfortable bed & quality bedding as the best aspect of our stay! But cleaning the floors (and toilet) between guests is essential."
