Absolutely the perfect Adirondack Vaca Home!

The cleanliness, how it’s decorated, how it’s laid out and the proximity to so many fun places are are perfect!! Will be definitely back again! Owner was wonderful and accommodating!

Great time spent with family and friends. We went to High Falls Gorge, visited the city of Lake Placid and went ski jumping at the Olympic Ski Jumping Complex.

Family suite!

We booked this property, which is right next to Grand Peaks, as a place for our parents to stay while our bridal party stayed at the bigger house where we had our wedding. They said it was perfect and they loved it. It was very convenient being so close to the “wedding house”.

Perfect stay!!

Loved Grand Pines Lodge!!! We house had plenty of room for our group of 11. We had 4 kids age ranged 3-13 and there was lots to do for all ages. The house was clean, and very well stocked. Highly recommend!

Perfect ADK Getaway

What a special place! Came here with my best friends from high school and their kids…memories made that will last a lifetime for all. The house was absolutely perfect for our size group…3 families and everyone had their own space. Gene was amazing to work with. If ever in the area again, we will only stay at one of his properties!

Excellent all around!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Pines Lodge. The views from the back deck are grand, and we’ll miss enjoying our coffee while taking in the cool mornings. You will quickly note that the owners have gone out of their way to make sure everything you need for an enjoyable stay is taken care of. The house is clean, well stocked and the location is great. 5 stars all around.

Great stay with fantastic support and communication

We have stayed in Gene's properties mutliple times and it has always been a great experience, this time was no different. The home is comfortable and well equipped. Gene warned us of incoming weather and helped us make a plan for safe travel. We had a great time and had everything we needed. Thanks, Gene!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was a beautiful property in a lovely area with so much to do! Our only feedback is many of the games for the game console don't work.

beautiful large home in the woods

We had a great time at this large and well maintained home. Quiet location in the woods with large deck for sitting outside and bbq. Well equipped kitchen for family dinners. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after busy days hiking or canoeing. Teens and young adults had fun playing video games and we all enjoyed some board games in the evening. Host was very responsive to any questions and concerns.

Top place to stay in the Adirondacks!

I organize an annual hiking trip every year with a crew of 10+ hikers. We’ve been renting places in the area for the past 18years, and this place was one of the best we’ve rented if not the best! Beautiful, large living spaces, and all of the amenities you could ask for. It was perfect for our large group. Will definitely be back. Gilles

Much needed recharge

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Cozy house with plenty of activities in and outside the house. There was 12 of us with dogs. Kids ranging from ages 2-9. After a day of hiking it was nice our rambunctious kids had their own space so adults could unwind as well. There are so many great hiking/fishing/swimming spots within minutes of the house. Definitely recommend this property if you are looking to recharge and enjoy the ADKs. Thank you Gene for your warm hospitality.

Bisons Hockey Trip

Grand Meadows is a beautiful cabin located no more than 25 minutes from all of the sites Lake Placid has to offer. We stayed here for a hockey tournament at the Olympic Center. Gene and Gala are wonderful hosts, check in was simple, the rentals are loaded with amenities, the scenery is beautiful! The kids loved the playrooms and the hot tubs! They checked in with us regularly to make sure our stay was going well. I can not recommend staying here enough. We will be back! Thank you from the Buffalo Bisons!!

Just wrapped up a 3 night staff with 7 adults and 5 kids (6 years old and younger). The accommodations were perfect for our families. The basement has a game area with TV, video console, board games and a ping pong table. There are multiple bunk beds with bonus trundles perfect for young kids. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and fire pit. The timber framed open concept was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids, listening to music and catching up with one another. Many thanks to Gene and his great staff for a memorable stay. We hope to be back.

Wonderful Week

We just returned from out week at Grand Pines Lodge. The house is beautiful, and the view of the mountains make it even more spectacular. The property is lovely and close to Lake Placid. Gene was a gracious host and was helpful but not intrusive. He allowed us to tour his new house next door Grand Peaks Lodge which is absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone. The house was very clean and the property is well maintained. We brought two dogs and they had room to roam and play. We were often greeted by a family of deer in the woods in the morning. I would highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation in the Adirondacks. Thank you Gene for opening your home to us!!

Luxury log home in the woods

You would be hard pressed to find a better home near whiteface/Lake Placid than Grand Pines Lodge. Gene is amazing and attended to our every needs prior to our arrival, even checking in via text periodically to see if we were enjoying ourselves or had any questions (thanks,Gene!). In addition to Gene’s concierge level service, we absolutely love all the amenities this house had to offer and took full advantage of them…roasting s’mores over the crackling fire pit under the stars, multiple soaks in the hot tub after a day of skiing/hiking followed by a stint in the very clean sauna. Numerous competitive ping pong tournaments after popping a few cold Ubu’s, reading under a blanket next to the beautiful and gorgeous stone gas fireplace. This house truly has it all and has a great floor plan offering just the right balance of open space yet enough floors/nooks/crannies for privacy and time to oneself. One of our top VRBO rentals ever. Thanks again Gene!

Friends getaway

House was very clean and spacious, layout throughout the house had a great flow and open layout. It had everything we needed to host our friends. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Quiet neighborhood, and close to all public fishing and mountains trails. Will reccomend to all. Gene the, owner, is always magnificent and on top of things. Thank you again.
