We had a great stay and loved the proximity to the beach. There are several good local breweries and wineries that are well worth a visit.

Great location! We loved the open space and the sun porch. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. This was perfect for our family.

Amazing location. The supplies left for a fun beach experience were much appreciated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would love to return.

Such a lovely place to stay for a Michigan beach vacation! This is our second time staying here as a family and we just love it. Very close walk to the beach, Red Arrow Roadhouse, Coffee shop. Ample space for sleeping and lounging and lots of beach equipment to use. Great for families but would also be nice for couples/friends vacation. We are looking forward to staying again!

This is our third summer staying at the Owls Nest. The layout is great, the location to the beach is a short walk and the owners are great with communication. Booking for next year already!

Better than advertised

The photos don't do the space justice. Very comfortable and very clean. Had all the the things that a person could need in a vacation home for inside outside or the beach. Host was communicative but not overbearing. Absolutely plan to book again.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great 2.5 day stay at Owls Nest with family. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything you could need or want and in a prime location, just a block to the beach. The beach was beautiful. Soft sand, clear blue water and private. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return next year!

Owls Nest was perfect for our friends reunion. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and cookware. There were several spaces where our group of 7 could hang out together comfortably; a screened in porch, a window nook in the living room, outside fire pit, outdoor porch, and dining table. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked with towels and linens. And the entire main house and guest house were spotless. Union Pier is a beautiful little town and Owl's Nest is a two minute walk to the beach. There are also multiple restaurants within walking distance from the house.We have been doing this reunion of friend's for about 25 years and this has been our favorite location and accommodation by far.

Quiet and Convenient Stay by the Beach

Our family had a great weekend at the Owls Nest. The location is perfect. If you bring groceries, there is no need for a car. The beach is a short walk away (even with toddlers) and the restaurant at the end of the street is a great place to bring the kids too. The house is clean and spacious and had everything we needed, from beach chairs to Roku.

Quiet, Relaxing Stay

The Owl's Nest is outfitted for complete relaxation in several settings -- great room, screen porch, front porch and fire pit. The location is ideal -- steps from the beach and the Whistle Stop provisioner. Union Pier and New Buffalo have several lovely restaurants and a unique weekend outdoor market at Skip's. Check out Robus with delicious chilled soups and salads. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Great location, fun house

Short walk to the beach, and while the dune was a little steep coming up, it was still very manageable even with infants. Having the coffee shop at the end of the street was a fantastic bonus. We loved the covered porch and huge sun benches! Great for chatting and hanging out. Guest house was cute, probably best suited for teens and kids. Very clean with everything you could need, would stay again next year!

Family Time

Loved out stay at the Owls Nest beach house. Very clean and everything there that you need. Guest house is a cozy cutie with extra space for privacy and down time. Private yard for fun and bon fires. Lovely neighborhood and very close walk to the beach. Quiet clean beach and lots of opportunity to make many wonderful memories. Definitely would visit again. Beach Heaven

The Owls Nest is great on many levels. The house is very well stocked with supplies. Had every kitchen utensil we needed and lots of beach toys and furniture. A very short walk to the beach made it all the more enjoyable - you did not fret if you had to walk back to the house for anything. Martin is a great host and we hope to stay at the Owls Nest again someday.
