Awesome girls getaway!! Love the beach decor, and the layout of the place. The backyard was relaxing and fun. The pool is heated, and the hot tub worked great. We really enjoyed the beach cart and beach chairs (I think I counted 8) provided at the rental. Easy access to the beach, and it was quiet. The area has a few restaurants, but we ate in New Buffalo @ The Stray Dog, and enjoyed our time @ Round Barn. Our group had the most fun sitting around on the back deck, playing games and laughing with each other. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Serene!

Great floor plan, very clean, didn’t have to bring our own linens (a first in over 36 years of beach renting on Delaware coast). The best was the short walk to the Lake and gentle incline down to the beach. No struggling with 92 or 135 stairs!

Wonderful Home Away!

This property was exactly as described, we had everything we needed at this home away from home and it was just a walk away from Lake Michigan in a great neighborhood. The pool and hot tube were wonderful!

Great location and wonderful pool and hot tub

The house was in a great location and just a short walk to the beach. The house was comfortably furnished. We totally enjoyed the outdoor space, pool and hot tub. The retractable awning added to our enjoyment of the pool area. Provided of beach towels and the storage shed included beach chairs, umbrellas (and beach toys for youngsters). We would stay again.

Cute & Clean Cottage

We had a great girls' weekend in this cute & clean cottage! Was a great location & we were able to walk to the beach & a couple of restaurants. If we had acomplaont, ot was only that the sleep pillows on the beds were pretty thin, so if you like a nice pillow, bring one from home. Other than that, it was a great property, the hosts were extremelynice & accommodating & we would recommend it & would stay, again!

Union pier

My girlfriends and I had a great time at the house. It was clean and comfy and the pool was the perfect addition. The neighborhood was cute and quiet and we loved being right next to the beach. Instructions for the house were clear and easy to follow.

Something for everyone

This is in a great proximity to the beach and having a pool and hot tub we never got bored. Nicely updated cottage, well appointed with plenty of beach towels and cooking supplies. Nice surprise was the retractable awning to keep the back patio shaded. Would def stay again.

Family vacation

We had a short and very pleasant stay on our family vacation. House was clean and fresh when we arrived. The loft area was a little warm, so the kids slept on the pullout couch in the living room which worked just fine. The open concept allowed for me to easily keep tabs on everyone, and the pool and hot tub were a fun addition. The beach was closer than I expected and we easily managed multiple trips back and forth throughout the day.

Perfect Private Oasis

My husband and I both agreed this one was the perfect house for a summer getaway. Pool, hot tub, private years, patio furniture, grill…it has everything you need and in a prime location. Beautiful home and very clean. We will definitely be back.

Something for everyone

This place was clean and had something for everyone. Great pool, yard games, and location so close to the lake, restaurants, wineries & breweries! Could use some things to add to guest convenience like hooks in bathrooms and hall for towels, suits, bags, etc and some kind of storage or desk in the loft for personal items of those staying up there. Overall great little place for our girls getaway weekend.

Cottage was just like described online. Loved it!

Cottage was as described online. Clean, nicely furnished, lots of sunlight throughout. Pool was a plus and beach access was super easy and close by. Enjoyed our time in Union Pier and will be back.

All about the pool

This house is all about the outside -- pool and hot tub experience. The awning, grill, and furniture outside are great. We had good weather and took advantage of the deck each day. The short walk to the beach was easy too. The home was tiny but clean. I would recommend a few more comfy chairs for the living room....it's not the most comfortable space. And, a few dressers so guests feel at home. The guest bedroom mattress is "ok." The loft is a bit warm, but we managed. Overall, our stay was very nice....especially with the pool.

Cutest cottage ever

Renting it was not an issue. We felt safe, never locked the doors door we never saw any keys. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. Used the blender and toaster as well. We brought own oil and salt to cook eggs but property had all that! Brought own coffee filters. But they had some there as well. I did ask about filters prior to check in but no communication. The beds are ok, one is really saggy, no dressers or hooks or shelves. Master bedroom has a roomy bathroom with shelves. The two loft beds were too hot to sleep in. The pool was fantastic. The awning out back was perfect! Loved loved the back deck. And propert supplies many towels. So nice you do that! It felt clean and sanitized, treated it like our home for the week. We loved it. Can you get some towel hooks in the hall bathroom? Thank you! Would most likely come back and recommend to friends!

Relaxing family vacation

We loved our week in the Sandy Shores house. Having such a short walk to the beach and a pool in the back yard was a win with every family member. A few days were a bit colder and the hot tub was a win with the adults. All we needed for the beach was available to us. Great place for family vacations.

Rest Relaxation and fun!

Wonderfully clean and many amenities. So close to the beach and all that you need is there in the shed. Of course when we went, it was unseasonably cool. But a heated pool and hot tub made that far less of a worry. Great fun for kids and adults.

Absolute pleasure

The property was awesome. Immaculate, well appointed and tastefully done. Pool and hot tub were very well maintained. The hot tub actually was hot, in a good way. Quiet neighborhood with huge trees throughout. Less than a 5 minute walk, about 3 city blocks, to a wonderful beach. Great experience overall.

Girlfriend Getaway

The property has a welcoming open layout, a wonderful kitchen and cozy beds. We spent many hours around the fireplace. It is an easy walk to the beach and an equally easy walk to Whistle Stop for supplies. If you are staying there during the off season, the pool will likely be blocked off with caution tape but hot tub was still available. We only used it twice. Also be aware that in the early spring the trees are still bare so you feel rather close to your neighbors on either side. I would guess in the summer it feels more private. Overall, it is a professionally managed, very clean property and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.
