The space was really lovely and close to Lake Michigan. The fellows who attended our weekend loved the spacious layout and peaceful atmosphere. We would be happy to return here.

Family beach trip

Family at Lake Michigan

We had a wonderful time together! We gathered with our kids, 4 families and three generations! Each family had their own space and plenty of room to spread out, great kitchen and table for everyone to eat together. Just a short walk to the beach! Definitely would recommend this home for your Lake Michigan vacation!

Perfect fall getaway

This home was beautiful and perfect for us and our children. The backyard was huge and private with trees bordering the property. The walk to the beach was close and easy with the steps down the dune. Thank you for a fun weekend!

Fantastic house and great location

This was a fantastic house for our extended family’s stay in Union Pier. Three families and kids fit perfectly and the guest house added some additional space and privacy so nothing felt crowded. The house was spotless upon checkin and well appointed with everything you need for a trip. Checkout process was easy!

Great home for a group

This is a very comfortable and spacious vacation home that was great for our group. The vaulted ceiling and open layout make it ideal for people to comfortably circulate. There is also a lovely yard and fire pit. The beach is just a few minutes walk away, although the weather was not great while we were visiting and the path down was somewhat eroded. We would definitely rent this house again!

This year the guest house was having trouble cooling during the heat wave. Henry was there in less than 5 minutes to work on it.

The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen is well appointed for cooking and grilling out. The main room is a perfect gathering spot and the five bedrooms are nicely spread out giving everyone plenty of room. The backyard and firepit are a great bonus as is the location and proximity to the beach. Highly recommended!

We had hot spots so it wasn't an issue except when we wanted to watch the TV. Kitchen well stocked. Beds and living room furniture not real comfortable. Loved the outside shower.

Had a very nice stay would have given an excellent rating except Tv/internet never worked. property manager tried numerous days to get it to work but no luck. Luckily great weather and was able to keep kids outside and playing board games. on the last day they were going to have comcast come out between 5-7pm which was too late for kids especially if it took them a lot of time. Beds where really hard also

The Whistle Stop nearby has coffee, pastries and small assortment of kitchen necessities if you are running low on milk or butter. Very walkable area nestled next to a private beach. In addition, the property manager was very attentive and responsive during our stay.

Perfect Weekend home for families

Short walk to a great beach! The home is incredibly well laid out, there were 8 of us (including 4 kids under 6) and everyone can have their own space and there is more than enough common space (indoor and out) for us to enjoy together

Perfect Location - Great Space

This house was in a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful lake and the beaches. The space in the house was great for our extended family. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill was great to make family dinners. We will be back!

Family trip for 50th wedding anniversary

We stayed for a week at this excellent, roomy, well-maintained home. The air, light and comfort were so perfect for our multi-generational group of 11. The grounds were perfect for games and firepit marshmallows, and, thought the Franklin Beach was shallow because of spring beach erosion, the walk and bike ride were part of the fun getting to the other beaches. We saw 3beautiful sunsets at Franklin, very short walk. Kitchen was equipped in general, and the washer and dryer kept us fresh and neat! We loved the large eating area table, and the books, TV, high ceiling fans, recessed lights, comfy beds, wrap-around walkway and double porch spaces made our family celebration all the more fun! Loved the home....thinking about renting it again in winter for a few days or next summer again!

Quintessential Lake Michigan Summer Stay

Loved this place in perfect location across street from beach access, short walk to morning latte at Whistlestop, dinner at Red Arrow restaurant, and bike rentals for riding along water on Marquette to New Buffalo. Spacious, comfortable with cute decor throughout. Screened in porches for afternoon naps and fire pit for s’mores at night!

Great girls weekend

A group of girl friends and I came for a weekend get away. The property was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, we loved the fire pit and easy access to the beach. Several of my girl friends suggested that this property should become our regular place to book. I would recommend.

Ideal Spot for Family Beach Vacation

My family has enjoyed many wonderful summer stays in this spacious home. A quick two-minute walk away from the lake, it provides a relaxing and easy getaway from the city. The house has numerous bedrooms, and even includes a private coach house attached by a screened-in porch, so it's incredibly accommodating for the whole family. Warm wood features, a beautiful stone fireplace, and cathedral ceilings make the interior space both impressive and cozy. Within walking distance of our favorite coffee shop and five minutes away from a diverse array of local restaurants. Highly recommended!
