"I really enjoyed my stay at Cocolala Beach house. From the owner Carola, to the staff, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Being that I took a solo trip for my birthday to Zanzibar, I really appreciated Carola in making sure my day was very special. "Stone Town is an amazing place. The hotel is well located and the decor is simple but classy. The roof terrace was great and breakfast was adequate. I took a room with a bathroom down the hall and it felt as if I was in a house. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. "

"I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. "

"Camere spaziose con arredamento molto semplice. Nelle nuove camere non c'è ancora la cassaforte, ma c'è la possibilità di usare quelle nella reception. Colazione buona e personale disponibile ed attento"
