"Clean, close to all the towns we needed to get to for a family ancestors research quest. Also discovered Steven Kellogg, and Inez Milholland. Use the ADK Museum in Elizabethtown to do that. Hiked one peak. Need to come back to do more of that and fly fish the Ausable. The tv is not an activity for this place."

"House is immaculate, like new! Back deck is great for morning coffee and a place to read without the bugs. Everything you need in kitchen is there, no need to bring anything. Beds are plenty comfortable. My only negative is that it would be helpful if there were electrical outlets by the beds. Because of outlet placement, we slept in separate rooms. Some odd rules like taking your own garbage to the dump and stripping the beds and putting sheets in washer."

"This is the ideal escape to the lake. The view is breathtaking from all rooms of the house. Especially loved the two decks! Bed is super comfortable. Barb is a gracious host. "We had a lovely time in this chalet in the woods. Everything was as described. Neighborhood was QUIET which is exactly what we were looking for. Close and easy drive to lake Placid for supplies.
