This is an amazing and perfect secluded spot, yet still close to everything. Our host provided all the essentials and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived! First time staying in a yurt- I’m hooked:).

Absolutely magical place! The Yurt was immaculate, cozy and so beautiful. The property was so stunning it actually took my breath away! My dog and I had so much fun exploring the many acres and beautiful waterfall and streams. My husband and I just relaxed and we felt renewed when we left! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all things needed, bathroom was so clean and towels were lovely. There’s even a washer/dryer!I’m going to mention two things that are not negatives, just information for those visiting. There are no blinds on the windows, which I saw from the photos, so bring an eye mask. And the toilet is a slower flushing toilet than I’m used to, I found holding the lever down for a moment worked best. The water is safe to drink out of the tap and so refreshing!Thank you Gisela for sharing this extraordinary place with the world!

Great Nature Getaway

My wife and I absolutely loved staying at this yurt. The lodging had all the modern amenities and was spotless upon arrival. Was very close to some good hiking (including some nice wild trails at your doorstep) and also an easy drive to Kingston. Would highly recommend.

Magical stay in a beautiful place!

Visited here in March with our two kids and dog and it was absolutely perfect. The property is huge and no other house in sight. We hiked up the waterfall and splashed around, and our dog got to be a “wild dog” for a day :). The yurt itself was very warm even though it was chilly outside - very well stocked and clean. You’re 15-20 mins away from towns if you decide you want to eat out or shop, but still feel like you’re totally secluded. Would definitely love to return!!

My Son’s Birthday Weekend

My son and I had an amazing birthday weekend at the Yurt. The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for, offering the perfect escape from the city. The surroundings were peaceful and allowed us to fully enjoy nature. The Yurt itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for our needs. Gisela, the owner, was wonderful to communicate with—she was always responsive, friendly, and helpful both over the phone and through messages. We truly felt taken care of. I highly recommend this Yurt for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, private setting.

Amazing place to stay

This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and the yurt itself was very clean. It was such a relaxing place to be and the grounds provide a great space to explore. I stayed here with two friends for our anual girls trip and we were very impressed! Our host was easy to get in touch with and provided plenty of information ahead of time. This place was a 10/10 for our weekend stay.

Very remote and peaceful Yurt. The whole space is beautiful, access to mini hikes. Try to book longer than a few nights, once you get comfy you won't want to leave so take advantage.

Unique , artsy, comfortable, scenic, secluded! The host makes your stay inviting with all the comforts of home . The bathroom is clean and modern , not what you’d expect in a tent ! There are multi outdoor seating options, bbq , fire pit, with a waterfall in view if the front door ! Gisela ( the host) is an artist, architect ( designed the Yert )& poet ( “just like that “ a poetry book she wrote is there for sale ). Lovely experience, definitely recommend !

A great and unique getaway not far from home

A wonderful and fun experience in a secluded and beautiful spot! We brought our dog who loved exploring the property, laying in the sun on the porch, and exploring trails and towns nearby. Amazing, relaxing stay!

My boyfriend and I went for a weekend getaway, looking for an excluded place to stay and the yurt was perfect! We loved making a fire at night, sitting on the porch having our coffee in the morning and exploring the waterfall in the backyard. Really really great stay!

Absolutely the BEST WEEKEND EVER!

We stayed at the yurt for a getaway weekend. From the moment you pull up, you are in awe of the property! It was covered in snow and just absolutely beautiful. The yurt itself was impeccable and every special touch was taken to make the property welcoming, comfortable, and special. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could have possible needed as well as instruction manuals. The beds were so comfortable and tons of extra blankets were included so that you were cozy and warm. The fireplace made the whole experience so special. We will ABSOLUTELY be coming back to the property! Thank you Gisela for an amazing weekend!
