Great Easter Escape

Oceans Kiss, or as our family call it “The Yurt” is in the best location in Mollymook Beach. Directly opposite the beach it is the perfect spot for a short family getaway.

Great views - Poor all the rest

Pros: Amazing views, great location, beautiful beach and neighbourhood. Cons: cold, more heaters needed, no knifes that cut, doors not easy to open, very noisy and old, not good furniture distribution, no towels (no linen was specified but not the towels) I guess Better for summer.

Great location.

A perfect location to enjoy a beach holiday,however the window screens were caked with dust and I tried to vacuum them with a minimal result.I am allergic to dust! The iron was totally broken but replaced only when we complained as we had a special event to attend .

Magical views

It’s all in the location with this property just delightful. Unfortunately the accommodation itself is not great. It needs a complete overhaul especially new mattresses. We still enjoyed our stay the location made up for what was lacking in the accommodation.

Great location in old house in reasonable condition. Had to breath in to get into ensuite shower with stuck door. I'd go back at the drop of a hat to this house.

Great location

The location was fantastic, if you want to listen to the waves breaking and watch the surfers out the front this place delivers. Whilst a bit tired inside the location is second to none.

Perfect location, maintenance and deep clean required

Pros perfect location spectacular views great bedroom layout comfortable lounges/furniture simple but sufficient kitchen functional washing machine and dryer outdoor shower and tap very convenient for getting sand off before coming into the house Cons Kids bedroom door handle only worked from the inside. if we had pulled the door shut, kids would have been trapped. we fixed it. overall cleanliness was less than satisfactory. there is mould on the grout in the shower, there is layers of dust and grime between the screen doors and bath, layers of dust under/behind beds, dishes were it away in cupboards with stuck on food, vacuum cleaner had dust still from previous guests etc light in ensuite flickered when switched off when raining. nails stick out of the deck (e.g. near the stairs to the backyard) kitchen sink plug only fits small sink, and is not completely water tight. no plug for big sink. clothes line has partially collapsed (still usable). no provision for clothes drying indoors other than dryer. a clothes horse would be good. bottom drawer of the bedside cabinet in master bedroom falls out. tap in main bathroom is lose. when changing water temperature, the entire unit moves. first world problem - only 1 toilet paper roll provided per bathroom. when on holidays you don't want to think about sensible things like ensuring there is enough toilet paper. an extra roll would have been appreciated. another first world problem - kitchen had no essential pantry items like salt, oil, sugar, etc. not having to think about these little things make a holiday relaxing. and some general comments on the property it's difficult to wash the bath because there is no hand-held shower. the lounges face into the house rather than out to the beautiful view! overall the furniture, whilst perfectly functional and comfortable, is not suited to the space. There is a loose wire hanging under the house. not sure whether this is a live electricity cable or something else. Could be dangerous? the kids bedroom door does not close and open easily. you have to push/pull really hard and it's really loud. the house creaks incredibly loudly! not sure if anything can be done about this though

Perfect location but house needs repairing and cleaning

The house is in an idyllic position directly opposite the beach, but the house itself needs repairs. Eg The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the sliding door onto the verandah doesn’t open. It also needed a thorough clean. For the money that was charged for 2 nights, the owners could spend that on the house. Disappointing!

This house is in a fabulous position ,sadly its old and tired ,windows are jammed shut and filthy !!There was no washing up detergent to use and nothing to wipe benches clean The tap on the bathroom falls off ,it really needs some money spent on it NO WiFi ,good parking no outdoor table to sit at on verandah ,no kitchen products what so ever..... IE pepper, salt or olive oil Stay has always done better than that

Location Location

Amazing oceanfront location. The house is very old but it was clean and everything is functional. We ate in most of the time as we had our baby daughter and everything we needed was there. We used to BBQ out the back a bit.

Lovely getaway

The house is lovely with an INCREDIBLE location. The main bedroom is rather dusty but spacious. There are no cooking essential condiments offered with this property such as oil, salt or pepper. If you rent this property, don't forget to switch on the hot water heater. It was not listed anywhere nor told to us by real estate. We had no hot water until halfway though the second day when we realised there must be an issue.

Basic accommodation in a perfect location

When all you need is a bed, bathroom and basic kitchen and living this place is perfect. Comfortable but nothing fancy. In my opinion the view was all we needed to make this weekend getaway relaxing. Thank you!

great location and view

we enjoyed our stay with the location and amazing view. The property was clean. However it is a little tired and many things need replacing or fixing. For example, bathroom door didn't close properly, shower screen was broken, draws in bedroom were broken, saucepan lid fell apart when used. It could do with an upgrade in terms of the decor, carpet, bathroom fixtures. Also bedding provided wasn't very warm for winter months. If your after a basic property it's fine, but for the price I would expect a little more.
