Could be great but didn't quite make it
Property is really nice and well outfitted, but with some significant issues that need to be resolved. Probably better suited to a family, but it did not really work for 3 mature couples - an extra bathroom is essential. The lounge room can't seat 6 adults, so we spent a lot of time in the very beautiful but dreadfully uncomfortable dining chairs. We eventually replaced them with the plastic chairs from the deck. In better weather we might have spent time outside on the deck, but 5 days of rain put paid to that. Worst memory is of the square toilet seats, which might look great but are impossibly uncomfortable to use. That sounds like a long list of complaints and it really isn't. The place is nice, but it's not cheap so it shouldn't have these shortcomings.

Mollymook Beach
This was our second time back to Mollymook Beach and to this property. Love the privacy and the security of this property. The house is in a good location, but very dusty the floors was not mopped properly and not clean enough to my standards, beds were comfortable and well-equipped and has a beautiful view. Communication with the owner was easy. Close to restaurants.

Fantastic location and ocean views
Best location, very enjoyable hot sauna after a surf at nearby beaches. Two amazing outdoor decks with panoramic ocean views. Highly recommended for the family.

Fabulous Mollymook property
This was our second year back to this property and, once again, we loved our stay. The house is in a wonderful location, is clean, comfortable and well-equipped and has a beautiful view. Communication with the owner is easy. Five stars from us.

Perfect weekend away
We were blessed this weekend with lovely weather and the perfect place to stay. Spectacular views and the home was very clean and more than was needed was available. A very attentive host made us feel welcome.

Lovely house but dirty
As soon as we walked in we were disappointed with the level of cleanliness of the house. There were smudge marks on the kitchen cabinets, dining table and windows. There was also something splattered on the inside of the dining area window. The floors in the bathrooms were dusty and covered in hairs left by the previous tenant. In the drawers in the lower bedroom there were used tissues and empty sugar packets. I didn't feel comfortable until I'd vacuumed and cleaned the surfaces myself. It's disappointing because otherwise it's a lovely property.

Hi Emma, I'm sorry to hear the house was not to standard. We take this seriously and as you know have had lots of 5 star reviews. If you had given us the opportunity upon check in, to re clean the house, I would have arranged this for sure. Instead we have only heard about this 3 weeks after your stay and do not have the opportunity to fix the poor rating. This is disappointing for both parties.

Perfect Bannisters launch pad.
We chose the property for its proximity to Bannisters restaurant which is literally a 2 minute walk down the road. The house is extremely well provisioned with the most glorious views of the ocean. The second bedroom has doors looking out right to the water whilst the main bedroom oversights that room at a different level. Useful to know that the family bathroom is a distance from the guest bedroom and at the upper level. It is a beautiful house and location.

Amazing stay in Mollymook
Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Mollymook. It was modern, fully equipped with everything you needed and even had a sauna. Was a very close walk to both Bannisters and the beach. If I go back to Mollymook I would stay here again! Lily was also fast to respond when we had any questions. Thank you again already miss it!

We had an amazing three day stay at this property.
This property is ideally if not uniquely located on the most beautiful location in Mollymook. You are surrounded by ocean views that match the modern design of the house. I slept peacefully at night with the sounds of the ocean in the near distance. Lily is truly an amazing owner. Our communication with her was always immediate including her allowing us to access the property before check in time. The house and amenities reflect her attention to detail, something we truly appreciated. To be honest, do not look further, this is a must stay! We will be back. Jo & friends

We drove 3hrs to this property only to arrive and not be able to access the property or contact Lilly to rectify the issue. We tried contacting her for over 2hrs, rang home away from home and there was nothing they could do either. We then had to drive home that night as there was no suitable accommodation available. The most upsetting thing about this situation is my husband is terminally ill and has recently stop active treatment. This was our last opportunity as a family to go away together before my husband passes away. It was the last time we would have spent away as a family with our young children. It is absolutely heartbreaking this happened. All our friends and family and palliative care team are absolutely furious that Lilly was so careless. The service we received was extremely unprofessional and completely non forgivable!

Hi Sally, Firstly, I'm so deeply sorry to hear about your husband. Please accept my sincere apologies again for not being able to access the lock box. It was an unfortunate series of events given that I could not get hold of our cleaner late Friday night and that we found out the next day by the locksmith that the lock box was accidentally jammed by our last guests. This has never happened in the past 5 years. I called HomeAway and instigated a full refund that night. I'm also sorry you were not able to accept the offer a free stay, but understandably you were already half way home and upset. Thank you for your review. Property review
The house was extremely well equipped. The owner Lily was delightful to deal with and gave us such great suggestions of where to eat. As this was a special birthday celebration she even left a bottle of champagne in the fridge for us. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Long weekend
Such a luxury to stay at a house, with an incredible view and the creature comforts of home within walking distance to the beach. This is our second visit and I’m sure we’ll be back for more. Lily is a great host who is always prompt with any communication. We’ve had a great long weekend falling in love with Mollymook a little more each time we visit.

Lovely getaway
Terrific spot to escape the rat race - would have loved to stay longer. The house is perfect rain or shine, and close to the beach, local shops and cafes. You could also arrived armed with a weekend's worth of supplies and not venture out! Bliss.

Fabulous home and location
A few girlfriends and myself had a most enjoyable stay at this gorgeous house. Clean, well equipped with coffee, tea and oranges....super comfy beds with lovely linen. An easy short stroll to Rick Steins or lovely beach walk to Mollymook. Highly Recommended!

Beach house with an amazing view
The house is modern, clean and equipped with everything you might need on a holiday. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The sauna and orange juicer were a nice touch and enjoyed by everyone in the family. Thanks to Lily for the anniversary gift. We'll definitely return!

Fabulous house for a family holiday, amazing views
Fabulous house with amazing views, very close to shops, restaurants and both Mollymook and Narrawallee beaches. A great spot for a family holiday, it was well set up with games and toys for the kids. We hope to return again sometime.

Excellent holiday house
We had an amazing holiday at Bannisters Oceanfront. We spent most of our time at Mollymook at the back veranda enjoying the view and listening to all the birds chirping and the waves crashing. It was all very peaceful and relaxing.

Excellent location with everything you need
Absolutely beautiful location with an incredible view! Everything in the house is of the highest quality. A daily sauna then a soak in the huge bath really puts you in holiday mode!
