"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. "Very nice place to stay. Clean and good view of the beach. Music in restaurant below was a bit intrusive and went on until ten pm. Possibly will be longer in summer months. We went in October. Free parking for renters. Recommended if you don't mind music all day."

"Lovely spot, close to the beach and several trails. There were some restaurants/food trucks within walking distance and about a 30 minute walk to the nearest grocery store. The unit is fully equipped with cooking facilities so we were able to cook all our food. The complex is very nice and residents and guests were all very friendly and respectful. I highly recommend this property! "

"We enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Old School House, celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. The property is perfect for a large group, with large communal spaces where everyone can come together, but also some cosy nooks where you can enjoy a moment of quiet. The fact that it’s located above the beautiful Fowey estuary, with fantastic views and the town and beach a short stroll away is just a bonus!"
