There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We are quilters and there are several shops in the general area. The rooms are big and the hosts are easy to communicate with. We had rooms large enough to gather together inside and outside (in good weather of course!!)

The home was spacious and a great spot for our family of ten to gather for the holidays. The location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The host was accommodating and communicated well. We would definitely return should the need arise.

Family Time

This is a perfect family get away and spend some time together place. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grand children. The location was great. It was like you were out in the country and yet city life was just around the corner. We will definately consider staying here again.

Not Quite Paradise

While our family had a wonderful time visiting with each other, I don’t feel the property quite lived up to its description. Our group consisted of mostly Sr. Citizens. We were not made aware of the multiple steps in the home until we walked in the front door. The living room is “sunken” and there are numerous elevation changes all throughout the home. Thankfully we only had one fall. I strongly feel this should be disclosed in the property description. There is no indoor pool as listed in the description, at least we did not find it in 3 days. The water pressure in the home is very low and to get hot water, you have to turn the showers on well in advance. We called the on-site caretaker to come figure out why we didn’t have any hot water, he said this is just how it was and you have to let it warm up. The pickleball court was not usable until we had to sweep/blow it off. It would have been nice if this had been done before we arrived. We were told the caretaker lived onsite at the back of the property. With the property being 10 acres, we assumed we would have our privacy. The caretaker home was right near us in the backyard beside the pool and while the caretaker was very nice, it was as if the caretaker and his wife were among us the whole time. Thankfully we have a wonderful family and still had a wonderful time being together.

Relaxing Getaway

Piece of Paradise home was the perfect place for our family to come together and relax. It’s the perfect setting with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own way of entertainment or together as a family sharing a meal or movie together. The location is perfect next to shopping and restaurants but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The owners were so kind and helpful when we had questions and there is a host that takes care of the property that lives in the pool house. That wasn’t stated in the listing but it didn’t bother us. She was so kind, helpful and left us alone. The pickleball court was a big hit as well as the pool and pond. We will definitely be back.

Spacious in & out at the property. Old retired college buddies golf weekend & the pictures don't do the property justice. Property Mgr & Owner were most accommodating. Will use this property again.

Great place to build family memories!

This was our 2nd trip to this property, both times for graduations from college for our kids. It is the perfect place for a relaxed family gathering. Both the owners and the caretaker were so responsive and kind. The property is well stocked. Communication is excellent.

Beautiful Property

The property was amazing. We were there with my tow adult daughters and there spouses (+ one granddaughter ) and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved sitting by the pool (unfortunately the Spa did not work) and my son-in-laws even fished in the pond. I think the listing and pictures are accurate…which I always appreciate when using VRBO. This is not the most modern home you’ll find but if you’re looking for a lot of space for a large family then this property is worthy of consideration.

Homey spread in Tyler

The home and property were lovely. Very cozy and homey feeling. The only challenge for us, were the stairs that went down into the sunken living room, master bedroom and laundry room. I think that needs to be clearly disclosed in the listing. Otherwise, the property was beautiful but needed some landscaping. Very convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping. Thank you for the snacks on arrival!

The Perfect Family Stay!

We chose to stay in Tyler Texas for a family holiday this year. We try to create memories in place of gifts. The house was perfectly located near shopping, but yet gives the feeling of being in the country. The property is beautiful. The accommodations were perfect. We spent more than we normally would, but it was well worth the price.

A perfect Christmas!

This beautifully decorated home was so perfect for our family Christmas. It was a very peaceful place with spectacular views. We enjoyed fishing and exploring the property We loved all the large open rooms and the huge decked out kitchen. It was very comfortable and super clean. The host was great and made our stay even better. The location and upscale amenities are even better than the listing shows. We would most definitely recommend this well managed property!

Amazing Vacation Place

This place is such a comfortable, and enjoyable rental for our large group of ladies. It has everything you need for cooking. The beds were very comfortable, and the enclosed patio was so much fun. There is a Braum's ice cream/hamburger shop nearby that I highly recommend. The caretaker lives nearby if needed. She does an amazing job, the place was spotless. Be aware that there are 2 steps into the living area and back up to bedrooms that could be a problem if someone is unbalanced. We had a blast and everyone had a very enjoyable stay!!

Large group Large Reward

This property was just perfect for our group! Well designed, very clean, spacious and what a gorgeous setting! Convenient to get to. Not far off main roads-close to everything yet a spot of peace and quiet where you felt away from hustle and bustle. We had many moments of relaxation at the pool and hot tub. Yard was perfect for games. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfy. Will be traveling much more to Tyler now and this will be our go to spot! Owners were easy to work with and communicative. Check in was a breeze. Property manager on site was amazing!!! So kind and friendly and gave a tour and explained everything so well. If you haven’t been to Tyler, go-visit-and stay here!
