The view was partial, but very nice. The condo was absolutely beautiful, and we were very comfortable. The only criticisms are there is VERY little water pressure in both showers, and with as much as we paid for our stay, the clean up before we leave rules were over the top. (100 if we don't take the trash out, leave towels on the floor (but not on the carpet, etc.). Other than that, it was great.

The location was perfect, it was a nice place to stay. One of the rooms did not have a TV (I think it was not working and they had it in a closet) but we were never told that there would be no tV in the second bedroom it would've been nice to be told. Also, in the master bedroom walk in closet there was a mirror that had a crack in it (I was never told that and I was kind of nervous that they would think I did that), the master bedroom tub wasn't proper cleaned they could've done a better job with cleaning the tub area

Lovely stay

Lovely place right on beach. Loved having heated pool available and restaurant on property! Dog friendly condo. Beware that dogs are not allowed on beach. Lots of restaurants with walking distance of condo. Plenty of towels which isn’t always the case. Spacious and comfortable

Tybee stay

We came to see a new place and enjoy better weather than we had back home- we did have a couple of sunny days and a couple of cold and windy days - Tybee is a little sleepy this time of year- but enjoyed the trips into Savannah! Great little small eateries- black river brewery - stingrays gumbo! Fantastic!

LOVED it here!

My daughter, grandkids and I stayed here and absolutely loved it!! We have stayed in other places in Tybee but this is our favorite so far! The pool is great, beach is beautiful and amneties we’re wonderful. We loved having the Deck restaurant at the pool! So convenient if we didn’t want to go out for meals. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be returning!

Beach Getaway

We recently stayed at this property while visiting our son who is stationed in GA. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to all that Tybee has to offer. The apartment itself was clean and beautifully decorated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the ability to get our son off of base and spend some time with him. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation on Tybee Island. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect condo for 2 couples, everything was comfy and clean. The resort location is very walkable to both ends of the island, and lots of shops & restaurants nearby. The beach, pools and The Deck restaurant all make for a wonderful stay!

Great location and property

My sister and I stayed at The Beach Colony for four nights. The property was wonderful! Sparkly clean and so nice! The Che k- in process was super easy and simple. We had great parking too. It was a short walk to the beach. The Deck has great food and drinks. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the pool, but the pool was nice.. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

Close to everything!

Decent, needs some updating… showers need some work, lost light in one the other one the shower head was leaking & loose. Carpet needs replaced! Location good! Pools were great!

a 4 day getaway from the floods in Asheville

It was a nice place for two of us. There isn't an ocean view but it is on the ocean with another building in front of it. The pool area and bar/restaurant were both nice and made lunch easy. The place was clean, but older tub with some green stuff around one place on it. Cleaning people could have missed it. Washer works good and it has a nice balcony.

Needs some work

This was a nice place to stay. Decoration was pretty but it is very much out of date. Needs some new faucets in bathrooms and kitchen needs a whole update. Please change the shower liner. It is nasty and they are not expensive

Great location but needs Bathrooms Remodeled

Great location, great pool and restaurant but condo needs a deep cleaning and bathrooms remodeled. Fixtures pitted and walls of showers stained. Shower curtains mildewed. For the cost per night it should have been cleaner and more up to date bathrooms.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at the SummerWinds 527. My family and I loved the condo and all the amenities it had. It was perfect for our needs. We brought our Corgi as well which was a bonus. The interior was nicely designed, the furniture was comfortable (including the beds), the kitchen was well stocked, and the patio was amazing. We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets. Would highly recommend staying here as opposed to Savannah.

I recommend booking directly through the onsite office at Beachside Colony. It was just a short walk across the pool area to the beach access gate. The restaurant onsite made our trip even easier. Long lazy days by the pool and beach and no need to leave the resort. ;)

Girls trip!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. There were 3 of us girls and the room was just perfect for that with the 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Everything was comfortable and just as the listing states. The pools and access to the beach were great. And the on site, beach front restaurant was a big plus! It’s a little older condo; but everything was clean. The Tybee Island area was just beautiful. The only negative I would add is that I wish the resort didn’t allow pets. The neighbors dog barked all day and night! I wish people would be more responsible for their pets behavior.
