This is a very nice property. Great architecture and decor. The rental agency is HORRIBLE. Tybee Island Vacation Rentals. The place is for sale and looks abandoned on the exterior. Range did not work, no shampoo, 1 kitchen trash bag, wrong size sheets for pullout (I left 5 messages to get new sheets and finally had to go to the office personally to get their attention) pool but no pool towels. They are supposed to give me an amenity credit for the range but have yet to hear. Given that they gave me a 4 week heads up about the range, I don't believe they made any effort to get it fixed. We had 12 people and had to use a toaster oven. I would advise to NEVER rent through this property manager. These are all easy things to do. It's clear they do not care about your vacation experience.

Our stay at Sail Away was amazing! Beautiful home with great amenities. Walking distance to the beach and the view from the rooftop was stunning. Property manager was so friendly and I was very impressed with their professionalism. They thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay and children of all ages will love the toys and the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked and they had enough towels to last the entire stay. I felt right at home and couldn’t have asked for a better home even with all the rainy days during our stay.

Perfect Location

Sail Away is a beautiful property with a perfect location. Our group included 12 people, 4 different family units as well as 4 kiddos. Overall, I would recommend this property! Something to note is if you have multiple family units as we did that require more than 3 parking spots someone will need to pay for additional parking. Tybee Island does not have free parking. Communication with Tybee Vacation Rentals was smooth and simple, I experienced no issues. One thing I noticed with the house was that the cookware needs to be replaced.

Great spot!

Property was as advertised…decor super cute, process very easy!! We had 12 adults stay and it was plenty of room. The pool isn’t big but it is perfect for lounging after a beach day. We loved our time here!!

Beautiful and relaxing

This house was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We had eleven adults total in the home and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The roof top feature was unique and such a fun surprise. Each space within the home felt relaxing and inviting. The beds were comfortable and our entire group raved about the kitchen. The pool was a wonderful feature which we utilized each day in the relentless summer heat. This house was a very quick walk to the beach which was fairly quiet during the month of August. Would absolutely recommend this spot for your next visit to Tybee!

Great House, bad experience with management

Overall, the house is great. We loved the space and it was very clean. We did have safety concerns about the pool and young children as there was no way to secure the doors in a way that would prevent children from going out on their own. Access to the rooftop patio was also difficult as the spiral stairs were very tight and did not seem secure. Otherwise, the layout of the house, number of bathrooms, kitchen, cleanliness, proximity to beach, etc. were all great. Our main issue, however, is that we did not have hot water for most/all of our trip. The issue was not resolved after multiple attempts to get resolution with the management company including my initial complaint not being recorded despite being told a maintenance request had been submitted.

New Beautiful Property with a Couple Easy to Fix Mishaps

Absolutely gorgeous and spotless townhouse. Property management over-communicates, which is usually a good thing. In this case it is a brand new property so the over-communication led to some incorrect info regarding check-in that made for a pretty stressful experience after a long late drive to start off our honeymoon. We were also startled to be interrupted by some unannounced pool maintenance as we were lounging on the private patio. The property requires dishes to be washed but did not supply dish washer detergent, so BYO. Other than that we had a great time. The rooftop is perfect for stargazing and has a surprisingly good view of the ocean for being set back a block or two. Access to the beach is a very short walk away.

Beautiful Getaway

Only wish we could have stayed longer! The kitchen was huge and very nice to cook with family in while the kids played in the living room. Love the media room upstairs as another option for movies and a chill zone, plus the fact every bedroom (even bunk room!) has a tv in it. Kitchen is also fully stacked with almost anything a chef needs including gas grill which made it easy to eat in and not have to search for restaurants. The private backyard and pool really makes it feel like you're somewhere else and so homey. The pool isn't heated but there is plenty of sunshine hitting the backyard and is just such a nice place to chill. The bedrooms are private and perfect to wind down, plus the HUGE tub in the masters we took turns using. Overall, there is definitely something for everyone and we will be back!
